SHAME ON NISSAN FOR PLANNING TO FORCE VACCINATIONS ON THEIR WORKERS.
    i HOPE YOUR SALES COLLAPSE.

You wouldn’t really expect Jay to be a fan of Japanese cars. But I love the fact that he has a genuine respect and love for the Datsun especially the original 240z. There really is no other car like the 240z. I give credit to Nissan for making this car. I hope it kills the competition just like the 240z did back in the 70s!!!

    Beautiful Vehicle! 😎👌👌👌

Love the Z community so much. Jay did a great job with the overview.

  11. The Guy on January 19, 2022 at 6:24 pm

I’ve got a few 240Zs. And other turbo Zs. This new Z is awesome.

  12. wiencheck on January 19, 2022 at 6:26 pm

The fact that it won’t be available to buy in Europe is just the saddest thing

  13. ER on January 19, 2022 at 6:27 pm

Had a 350z then a 370z. I’ll prob get a 300zx. This is a great car but 40-50k is a lot. I had each for 5 years. Eventually once the price goes down I might consider it

  14. Juanchis Rodríguez on January 19, 2022 at 6:28 pm

THAT CAR LOOKS LIKE A DAMN FORD MUSTANG FROM THE BACK…

  15. Jim Knouls on January 19, 2022 at 6:31 pm

I am surprised at how slow the 0-60 speed of 4.2 seconds. 400hp and a relatively light car should be quicker.

  16. Skooter623 on January 19, 2022 at 6:32 pm

Thanks Jay. A working man’s perspective.

  17. BWTECH on January 19, 2022 at 6:34 pm

supra owners regretting right about now

  18. KBTV KBTV on January 19, 2022 at 6:35 pm

I love all models of this car,,, but its soo low to the ground,,, i fear the wrong speed bump would cost a life… 😞

Next video from Scotty Kilmer: Here’s what I really think of the 2023 Nissan Z!

  20. Kaye Whye on January 19, 2022 at 6:38 pm

I watch a lot of Jay Lenos Garage videos. I could never afford the vast majority of cars he showcases, and even this one would stretch my wallet.

That said, I love this car. I want this car. To know that Jay has good things to say about it, just makes me want it that much more.

Thanks Jay! Please keep loving cars like you do, and please keep sharing them with us!

  21. lorenzo Baruch on January 19, 2022 at 6:38 pm

It’s an affordable power package for into a true size of a sports car. Still, it’s very blah, but this Z will look and perform a lot better when the aftermarket gets a hold of it.

  22. Cynical Sayonara on January 19, 2022 at 6:39 pm

    Dealers: 72K starting price.
Remember when they said the C8 was supposed to start at 50K? Lol.

  23. Tricky Ricky on January 19, 2022 at 6:39 pm

Japanese brought back old school JDM vibes for 2022. Respect. Now lets get a revamped RX7 that feels like the old one did and we golden

  24. Calibur43 on January 19, 2022 at 6:41 pm

Needs a 1 inch drop from the factory and it’ll be perfect.

  25. BWTECH on January 19, 2022 at 6:42 pm

a millionaire skipping out on an option for a McLaren because he doesn’t "need" it. So much respect for this man!

  26. Attila Badi on January 19, 2022 at 6:43 pm

    I want it

  27. Patriot Armament on January 19, 2022 at 6:44 pm

One of the coolest guys ever. 👍🏼

  28. Thursha Gibbs on January 19, 2022 at 6:44 pm

If you have this you dont have to play golf, you can have fun driving this around. 🤣Thanks for the laugh J.

  29. Mohammed Abdullah on January 19, 2022 at 6:46 pm

they tried so hard to be modern that it killed the design

  30. Justins Music and fitness on January 19, 2022 at 6:48 pm

As a owner of a 350z for almost 20 years now I’d love to own this for the next 20 years… but one could only wish

  31. Vume on January 19, 2022 at 6:49 pm

20k to paint a car whatttt!!! Lmao what painters are ripping jay off😂😂

  32. Jim Knouls on January 19, 2022 at 6:50 pm

I hope the body is steel and not aluminum. My Alfa as aluminum and dented too easily. Even acorns would dent the body.

  33. Professor DoNut on January 19, 2022 at 6:51 pm

    I want one

  34. The Batteries on January 19, 2022 at 6:54 pm

I can’t wait for the call from my dealer saying it’s time to spec your Z 😁

  35. D C on January 19, 2022 at 6:54 pm

Trunk just the same as the 370z

  36. tapantera on January 19, 2022 at 6:55 pm

  37. First Last on January 19, 2022 at 6:56 pm

    Another ugly Nissan.

  38. David NotSaying on January 19, 2022 at 6:57 pm

I love this. I have watched Jay on TV and YouTube a good bit. Always the kinda guy you can just sit around and chat with. You can tell its not just a showroom collection, but he genuinely loves cars. I would love to see him do more reviews and get some wheel time when he does it.

  39. MisterMister5893 on January 19, 2022 at 6:58 pm

Rear end looks great and respectful towards its legacy / heritage roots, but that front seems to have missed the mark (for me). It looks half measured, an afterthought, even. I really wished they did do a faithful headlight like Porsche do with their cars for a time with the circular headlights.

  40. Austin Lohr on January 19, 2022 at 6:58 pm

Jay can fit in a miata?

  41. Rs3 Daily on January 19, 2022 at 6:58 pm

Y’all complain 40k is too much but complain you don’t have 400hp

  42. Paolo Vitale on January 19, 2022 at 7:01 pm

I hope this particular model gets a very long production period so that I can get to save to get this brand new, while 40k is a lot of money, it seems quite reasonable for what it offers in the current market. I’ll take this over the new supra and c8 corvette any day, I think this might be one of the best looking Zs ever as well, what a wonderfull car to look at, specially with that blue color.

  43. Braden Smith on January 19, 2022 at 7:03 pm

You can tell Jay is getting older, much respect to him for still doing this stuff at 71 years old!

  44. t mus on January 19, 2022 at 7:03 pm

thats very close to the r35 stock power and half the price…. probably lighter too as it looks smaller and is only 2 seater

  45. Just Me on January 19, 2022 at 7:05 pm

Can’t get over that ugly front grill.

  46. Jeremy Ferrigno on January 19, 2022 at 7:08 pm

"if you’re out playing golf, go get a cadillac"

  47. Joyy on January 19, 2022 at 7:10 pm

    This car is fucking gorgeous

  48. Marie Rsrsrs on January 19, 2022 at 7:13 pm

Definitely getting this car was thinking of getting a mustang but is too overrated everyone has it but this car is very unique

  49. Marek D. on January 19, 2022 at 7:13 pm
