This crap is so bad, my cats won’t touch any of it. So we put it outside for stray and opossum, and they won’t even touch it. My bull dogs won’t even attempt to steal it. Flush this shit if you have it. Don’t buy it if you haven’t.

i had a cat die from that food and my other two almost died from it luckly my daughter found your video and she started crying and told me her two kittens got violently sick from it and we stopped giveing it to them cause they stopped drinking and eating soon as we stopped that food and gave them pedialyte to rehydrate them they perked back up in with in a couple weeks so glad she found your video thanks for saving our other two kittens and people should know that this food kills pets and should be taken off store shelfs

9 lives and friskies and fancy feast all garbage why you think it’s so easy to get at any store and it’s cheap get real food from petco if you can’t afford real food get the petco brand called “whole hearted” or the next level up will be “whole earth farms” and the 3rd level “merrick” a little more pricey than “whole earth farms” they also make “whole earth farms” these are the ones I stick with but other people got different opinion so I would say want your cat to live longer and look it’s best get real cat food not that junk they sell in local stores

My neighbor has fed my kittens they got sick, and I told him to stop feeding them that kind. Frisky are the best.

Interesting! But, I have never had that happen with any of my cats. In fact, it is their favorite cat food brand. Cats are usually pretty good at separating out what they do not want or what is dangerous. They are a lot better at it than dogs are, for instance. You might, however, have to consider the type and breed of the cat. Some of the more exotic breeds may be different. I do not have any exotic cats and they are all the "regular" outdoor type of cats.

My cat is very sick now for two months after i fed him 9 lives for a change!!!!! then i went to the sore and they recalled the same food i was paying for at the register!!!!!! didn’t let me buy . yes 9 live my cat started to loose weight and got a track infection and was vamating this food!!!! that should be ashamed.

  11. Violetta W on June 13, 2020 at 8:50 am

Read ingredients…he got sick cause you fed him SHIT.

  12. Sean on June 13, 2020 at 8:52 am

If you love your cats then buy fresh raw tuna. If not keep buying shit off the shelf. Do you really think they use the best ingredients? If so then maybe you shoud lay off the mcdonalds since your eating the same shit

I don’t really understand how bones could be a problem. Their ancestors eat whole prey which contains bones, and it is in fact their primary source of calcium in nature. It must have been something else in its food or overall environment causing this.

    Cats like 9lives

  18. Anthony Y II on June 13, 2020 at 9:03 am

Cats can eat bones. The older your animal is its best to upgrade their food to a more sustainable source for their age. 9 lives is sold at the dollar store so its not to hard to think that not every cat is going to react to dollar store cat food the same way.

I have had 2 cats who had FUS….I fed them 9 Lives Plus Care….it was so bad for them that the first lived to be 15 years old….the second one is still alive & well….no signs of blockage in 4 years……he was a stray who lived on rats & squirrels before we adopted each other…..don’t try to hand me this crap……

EVERY BODY BE QUITE IF U DO RESEARCH BONES ARE BAD FOR CATS!

  23. Rob Robi on June 13, 2020 at 9:19 am

Look at the ingredients, it’s fake food product. My idiot neighbors have been feeding it to my cats too – They think my cats and kittens are their toys.
Why the hell can’t people stay away from other people’s animals .

  24. Linda Wolff/Kashmir27 on June 13, 2020 at 9:27 am

When they had the big canned cat food recall a few years ago for the melamine, 9 Lives was one of the few brands not affected. My cats don’t prefer the tuna, so I rarely buy it. They love the beef flavor, though!

  25. Light Echo on June 13, 2020 at 9:29 am

I know that switching animal food to different brand/type etc can cause digestive upset… different animals react to different stuff well…. differently… ive never had issues with any of the food i feed my cats i use friskies wet food and 9 lives dry food… i know that my cats are hungry little monsters they eat mice, squirells and once i saw a mangled little weasel thing ( not to mention mole rats and baby bunnies and birds) they leave me the livers and heads maybe a feather… soooo my animals eat plenty of bones… and they are healthy happy alive and spoiled as ever…,

  26. mitchbow on June 13, 2020 at 9:29 am

Cat eat mice… Are there no bones in mice? I dont think it has anything to do with the contents on bones but the quality of food!
