    Sounds like elder scrolls music

  2. Volitar on October 8, 2020 at 6:25 am

"Tank’ pets are rubbish for leveling. What good is the tanky stats if it can’t even hold agro vs your first auto attack. Better off using a normal pet and get use to bandage/mend petting it.

  3. mustangpadawan on October 8, 2020 at 6:25 am

I’m sorry I agree with why were you say except you’re saying gorillas are great are we tanks I think they’re stomp is on a 30-second cool down or something where I Screech has no cooldown and it draws a butt ton of Agro because every mom hates when you deep off them. And if I remember correctly birds are the only pets the Dodge block and Parry

  4. pendragonshall on October 8, 2020 at 6:27 am

@16:15 you state that a pet damage is not crucial for it to hold Aggro. It is. Thats what makes a slow cat the best aggro tank. Raptor as well. All good but i tested that.

At level 15 I trekked from SW to the barrens, just to get a turtle 🙂 my dream pet

Thank you so much for this comprehensive video! I’m one of those Broken Tooth Night Elf hunters that uses stealth on myself and Broken Tooth. Makes for great flag defending.

  9. Torbjørn Hagen on October 8, 2020 at 6:31 am

I used the black widow from duskwood, all the way up to legion. I liked having the web abbility as a marksman hunter, in order to pin down my targets, it was especially good in PvP 🙂

  10. Madison Hang on October 8, 2020 at 6:32 am

  14. Cameron Mills on October 8, 2020 at 6:37 am

I have looked and looked. No one seems to answer does a pet level like a toon. So if i tame a pet 24 levels below me does it get limited xp like the reduction if i was a 24 hunter with a level 60 warrior?

  15. Jouko Turkka on October 8, 2020 at 6:40 am

Bind your skills, dont mouseclick like a noob.

  16. Alex Gibbs on October 8, 2020 at 6:40 am

  17. Alex Gibbs on October 8, 2020 at 6:40 am

  18. Killmouseky on October 8, 2020 at 6:40 am

  19. Alex Gibbs on October 8, 2020 at 6:41 am

  20. HoundofJustice on October 8, 2020 at 6:43 am

As dwarf, u already see the intro/the picture u used. U just have to use a bear its the only thing looking good with a dwarf! 😀

  21. Nunya bizness on October 8, 2020 at 6:44 am

Owls are superior to carrion birds. They are arguably the best leveling pet, along with bats.

  22. Jose Tejeda on October 8, 2020 at 6:45 am

I have 2 questions….1) it is possible to farm the demons in Darkwhisper gorge with a hunter? 2) what will be the right spec, pet, pet abilities, recommended gear…. Thanks!

  23. Petrazenka on October 8, 2020 at 6:49 am

Some info on crocks and their ability to "concuss" movement speed often might make a nice PVP pet video. They are good for kiting opponents because they force opponent to use their trinket early, waste mana dispelling and have ability to concuss again shortly after. The effect stacks with concussive shot. Their armor is also good enough that opponent whom gets irritated at the crock slowing them down will often be forced to fight the pet when they give up chasing the hunter. Compared to boars I prefer crocks because of cool downs on their ability. It is better to keep opponent concussed for the duration of the fight with fast cool downs than short term rooting and having to wait for the cool down to do it again.

You are right about the scorps. Their nature damage gets bonus from any spell power enchants the hunter has on gear. Spell power also stacks with any spell procks on weapons like venom strike and any specialty from "spell book", including melee attacks like raptor strike. They make good pets for the lv 19 twink hunter that likes to faceroll people in WSG. I like to stack spell power instead of agility or intellect on my lv 19 hunter twinks.

At lv 29 I prefer the crocks and will stack intellect because of the attack power ability and extra mana. I will also try to stack some agility. Lv 29 is for glass cannon hunters who know how to kite.

  24. Scott L. on October 8, 2020 at 6:49 am

is any of this info still correct since classic released?

  25. Frantisek Jílek on October 8, 2020 at 6:56 am

and how about in tbc there is broken tooth best pet too or something else ?

  26. solen18 on October 8, 2020 at 6:59 am

Simple answer to the birds being pets, they are ugly little shits LOL

  27. Andreea Calin on October 8, 2020 at 7:01 am

Mangeclaw the bear and Rake the lion are my pets ❤😻

  28. Shiukaze on October 8, 2020 at 7:02 am

    learned a lot nice vid

  29. Shogo Yamada on October 8, 2020 at 7:03 am

rank 3 thunderstomp costs 60 focus.

  30. BadJuicy on October 8, 2020 at 7:03 am

I’ve tamed 6 pets now and everyone only had growl

  31. Classic T.J. on October 8, 2020 at 7:04 am

Hey guys, my info on the Gorilla pets were wrong. Thunderstomp has a much longer CD, making them a decent pet, but no near as good as I stated. Because of this, I recommend a Carrion Bird as the AoE tank.

  32. Tom Ato on October 8, 2020 at 7:04 am

Sounds like you’re saying wolfs instead of wolves, I hear an f when you say wolves so wolfs.

  33. Ray Zimmer on October 8, 2020 at 7:04 am

Can Boar Charge Crit? Can it benefit from the Devilsaur Tooth Trinket Buff?

  34. Ludvig Borga on October 8, 2020 at 7:05 am

When taming new pets for abilites. Send them into battle so you ACTUALLY learn the new pet ability.

  35. J D on October 8, 2020 at 7:05 am

Well done. Shocked you didnt mention The Rake. Solid pet for all aspects of the game. Great guide. thx

  36. Arthur Dealy on October 8, 2020 at 7:06 am

Fucking great video. I always stay with the boar because that charge ability is just too good to pass up

  37. CAS on October 8, 2020 at 7:08 am

You want bite and claw you having full focus is a waste

  38. Johannes Dolch on October 8, 2020 at 7:09 am

Great Guide. On a side note: It amuses me to no end that Americans constantly fail to use "can’t be under/overstated" correctly …. Even though you are using it logically wrong, the predominance of this misuse almost counts as slang.

  39. kolbe sharples on October 8, 2020 at 7:11 am

GREAT NOW I GOTTA GO TO DUSKWOOD FOR 3 WEEKS

  40. Benedetto Bruno on October 8, 2020 at 7:11 am

Is it better to leave a wolf on passive to benefit from furious howl in your rotation, or have the wolf attack and potentially die during the fight?

  41. MF Walmart on October 8, 2020 at 7:13 am

    i’m a hunter, level two

  42. Michael Clark on October 8, 2020 at 7:13 am

Cool down on thunderstomp is 1 minute in classic/1.12, not 7 sec…which honestly makes using carrion bird/owl and just giving them some time to spam screech and build threat better than gorilla for aoe threat

  43. Samuel Adlakha on October 8, 2020 at 7:14 am

    Surprise no mention of Humar

  44. Henry Jurkiewicz on October 8, 2020 at 7:14 am

Where do I find the boars ?

  45. Roger Avila on October 8, 2020 at 7:16 am

Theres only 2 kinds of pets

. Actual dps pets (serpent and raptor)

And all the other pets (garbage)

  46. Joe Kerns on October 8, 2020 at 7:19 am

1 key point not explained. I have a 58 pet and I’m 58. He only has 89 pet points and needs several hundred to learn the skills he has access to. Explain?

  47. Manimal on October 8, 2020 at 7:21 am

This information is wrong at 15:24 regarding Gorillas thunderstomp you are probably using the archived petopia from TBC. In Classic/Vanilla it is a whopping 1 minute cool down.

  48. Hipp on October 8, 2020 at 7:21 am

What’s not talked about really are spiders. Certain ones can web (net) enemies as well as apply DoT’s, which make them my favorite

  49. Monkeyspankerelite on October 8, 2020 at 7:23 am

I wish I could tame a Tauren as a pet.

  50. Mitchell's Mustache Rides on October 8, 2020 at 7:23 am

Oh no, I didn’t know I even killed him… But I’m a hunter and I have the Hide of Lupos, not knowing how rare and good this mob is. Nooooo!!!
