Hello there, Peachy! So happy to see this video in my subscription box! *clicks on video* Although I don’t have rats, this was so fun to watch and too learn about. I can’t answer the question you gave, but I can see why it must be hard to find that many healthy treats where you live as I know that most pet stores can contain lots of sugary, unhealthy treats. This will help so many people I’m sure, as this video was packed with information! It’s great that you also added some healthy trrat options in this as well. I loved the editing and listening to you in this video! Keep up the amazing work, PPP! I loved the video! Have a lovely day! <333

  8. MinoesTrashRat on August 27, 2021 at 8:19 am

Hello Peachypetparadise. I really need some help and no forums are answering me and im really worried. one of my new ratties (which is still a bit small) suddenly makes a purry sound, it doesnt sound like bruxing, but doesnt sound like squeeking or chriping either, its like a "broob broob" very silently. Maybe its something good? because hes way calmer and tamer than he used to be? Maybe its just a very weird brux? Please help, im not sure if its bad or not! Edit: He plays, climbs, eats, drinks and sleeps just like a normal rat would, his fur, eyes and nose seem fine too. theres a video on how they play on my channel incase you may see something wrong with him? (its the black and white one, Oreo πŸ™‚ ) We use Back2Nature as bedding and un scented toilet papers as nesting material. we have an alfalfa and corn free off brand with a 15% protein level.

  19. yanphuc on August 27, 2021 at 8:38 am

Seeing thay you mentionned fish, I was wondering if I could give them some mackeral o.o
I didn’t know about the fats segment you mentionned which is why I was wondering if it was bad for them considering that mackerals are full of omega-3 for example.

We have an excalibur dehydrator and make our own dried fish and fruits/vegetables. If it’s ok to be given, I’d like to know if dried fish is ok to give them if they happen to like it ^,^.
If you do know about cats, can you tell me if it’s true or not that cats are seafood and fish intolerant?
I’d really like to know if my girlfriend keeps saying that because she hates seafood or if it’s because its true XD
Thank you so much dear : P

Hi! I’m getting three little rattles soon, and I have everything they need to have a safe and happy life! But, I have one problem. I’m also starting my school schedule, and I would be gone for 7 hours a day, with weekends off and holidays. Would 7 hours away from my rats too much? Will I have to wait till I have more free time? Thank you and I love your channel. ❀️❀️

  25. Brock Wisniewski on August 27, 2021 at 8:45 am

I am thinking of making a rat treat so if you would like to make a video of it here’s what you need:
    1. A apple
    3. A bowl
    4. 2 or more spoons
OK now the steps first get the apple put it in the bowl cut it up and then smash it then put the water in it ( the rest will be in the commets)

  26. three Musketeers on August 27, 2021 at 8:46 am

peachypet paradise+ for the yogurt treat how many am I supposed to give once a month 3,4,7? thank you

  27. Ashley Whistle on August 27, 2021 at 8:46 am

    Loved the video!
I remember looking at all the ingredients when the rats were around and really I only ever bought store treats once or twice. I would just have the rats on my shoulders and they would eat with me! Some fruits here and veggies there and yogurt and Cheerios and lots and lots of foods they all got to try. I say stick with the healthy natural treats! They are the cheapest, healthiest, the rats love them and they are fantastic! But a yogurt drop or two they go crazy over πŸ˜‚
    Loved the video Owly

  28. littlelissa on August 27, 2021 at 8:49 am

Your hair is sooo pretty!! And I love your rat videos! I really want to get a few rats soon!

  39. Candyhamsters 21 on August 27, 2021 at 9:02 am

Ahh, yay for a rat video!! I am so excited for this hehe, even though I don’t own rats! πŸ™‚ Treats are always good for rewarding animals hehe! I wish I could answer your question xD I notice a lot of those unsafe ingredients in hamster food mix for sure, and I know this doesn’t really apply to the video, but do you know if some of the ingredients you listed like corn are dangerous for them, too? I never knew rats couldn’t have dairy all that much! Ohh, I bet rats would love dried fruit! Fruit in general from what you said seem really healthy! Oh, Gerber puffs? Hehe Buddy and Striper love that, as well as baby food! I also never knew that rats could eat meat, too! I have, of course, heard of Whimzees, and I like how it’s a chew, too! Ahh, I like that boredom breakers serve as a multi perpose treat. My hamsters love yogurt drops hehe. I really enjoyed this video, you did such a nice job with it! Haha those bloopers were hilarious! XD Have a nice rest of your week! <33

Hi Peachy, I am researching to find which foods & treats are healthy for my rats & have found lots of confusing advice. I really need to point out that in this vid you recommend cuttlefish bones for rats teeth & a healthy calcium intake BUT, in your vid for UNsafe foods for rats you say cuttlefish bones are NOT safe as they contain too much calcium! Hmmm, more confusion. I will choose not to risk it. Some youtubers say spinich is ok but that is a no no, the pet shop lady said no bananas…..oooh it is very confusing!

  43. Kamilah Ramirez on August 27, 2021 at 9:06 am

  48. Warren hornby16 on August 27, 2021 at 9:08 am

I love apple sauce as a treat. I use this and they lick it off my finger and I can feel their little tongues. I only got my 2 boys a few days ago and they are called salt and pepper. Your YouTube videos helped me so much on where to get everything and what to get so thank you 😊 I hope to see loads more vids from you πŸ‘€

  49. Fudge4194 on August 27, 2021 at 9:09 am

I live in the UK too and I found some Gerber graduate puffs but they weren’t called that and were by a different brand, If that makes any sense. I’m sorry, but I can’t remember what the brand was, but in January, I made a 3 – part hamster supply collection video and they were shown in that if you’re interested in investigating. Also can I request a hamster treat video? πŸ™‚
