What level stimulation (V/T or level 1) would you recommend using just starting to use an ecollar on a 5 month old chocolate lab puppy for duck hunting and what excersizes for "come/here"

Our pup is great with basic commands (come, sit, down, place, heel, off, break) but is eager to learn more. What are some intermediate to advanced commands we can train with e-collar and how to start training them?

Liked this video a lot, informative and precise when providing instructions on how to use the device and how to train your dog, thank you

This collar is too long for my dog. Why doesn’t the collar have something to hold down the excess from flapping around?

My husky puppy who is about 6 months old is always biting and hurting my 13 year old dachshund. My husky is like 3 times bigger than my dachshund already and over powers him. He doesn’t listen to me even when i tell him no or try to grab him. He just bites me and continues his aggression towards my dachshund. Do you think an e-collar would be a good idea?

can i use the collar to stop the dog from running out to the road? I have registered for refresher basic training.

We just got a SportDOG 300 yard ecollar for our pup – he’s only just 5 months old is that too young to start? I don’t want to use anything but vibration at all but we thought that this could be a good start to training him for eventual off-leash woods exploration and underground fencing.

My two dogs are extremely energetic and jump all over family excessively when we have them over. Can this device/collar be used in training them to learn not to jump all over people?

Hello and thank you I hope this works for my boy, anyway it says about basic obedience first but he knows his name and what come means but is stubborn and dosent listen so if he won’t listen to command how can I get him to listen to that before introducing the collar?

Hello. Where on the neck do you recommend placing the receiver? It looked like you had it at the bottom instead of off to the side. Thank you

This collar vibration does not work don’t waste your money. I bought the $159.00 one at petsmart. Tried everything after reading reviews alot of people have this problem. Buy a different collar.

Is this a good product for off leash training, I have a 2 year old Doberman. He’s very energetic & I want him to be able to run freely but I’m afraid of losing him sometimes.

I have a golden retriever still a pup (we got him at 9months — 4 days ago) .. he barks at people , dogs (Ofc) , he pulls , he jumps on tables. I really enjoyed how informative your video is. I don’t just wanna use an e-collar incorrectly. But I wanna know the right time to use it , also can I use it all the situations I listed ?

  24. Näe Näe on July 6, 2022 at 7:55 am

can this be used for a dog that has dog to dog reactivity?

  25. Doug G on July 6, 2022 at 7:55 am

It took me 20 minutes or less to get my beagle to come back when called. I call him and beep… call and beep.. call and vibes , call and shock ( on 1) and he figured out real quick he might as well come at the beep. Well worth 150 bones

Hi I have a question. I have a 2 year old Siberian husky. Lately it’s been hard to get the prongs to connect to his skin. Any suggestions? I wish the light on the collar turns a different color to let me know “it has contact” I feel bad sometimes I got to turn it up to like a 5 just so I would know it is connected properly then I’ll bring it back to a 1.

As long it doesn’t hurt my pooch

  28. Wayne Dodson on July 6, 2022 at 8:02 am

    Great explanation, and great product.

It also means a lot to see someone that openly says if you see your dog in pain then you are way too high.

How do u switch from tone to vibrate?

  30. Auryan Abyaneh on July 6, 2022 at 8:03 am

what if my dog cannot handle level one? does the vibrate/tone work as a correction too? thanks!

  31. Matt Shepherd on July 6, 2022 at 8:03 am

What is the difference between the 100 yard remoter trainer and the 300 yard remote trainer? Besides the distance, why does one have the V/T button and the other does not have that option?

  32. pcstew3 on July 6, 2022 at 8:04 am

My dog already knows these commands but occasionally has a delayed recall with distractions or ignores if chasing an animal. She’s been leash trained with a prong collar and knows commands off collar. Should I still introduce the ecollar to her with the prong collar so she associates the stimuli of the ecollar as the same communication as the prong?

  33. Bananas and Bass on July 6, 2022 at 8:05 am

Does this work on vibration / haptics, or by tightening, or does it use electro shocks? Can’t tell from the vid.

  34. c riz on July 6, 2022 at 8:05 am

Just actually bought one of your collars I am trying to use it with my 3 yr old staffy who is high anxiety has had one bad experience with the e collar that I know of to date… And has major dog reactivity… I am scared to try this because I don’t want to make him worse… Do you think I am making the right decision for my boy with the anxiety and previous bad experience?

  35. Vennie Moran on July 6, 2022 at 8:08 am

    Best thing I ever bought.

  36. Brandon Day on July 6, 2022 at 8:11 am

Where can i find that cot? Perfect spot to teach place for my puppy!

  37. bigbowlowrong on July 6, 2022 at 8:12 am

I’m getting an e collar to stop my rescued and completely untrained (before I got him) Japanese Spitz from excessive play-biting and chasing. I love him and have no desire to see him in pain, so will limit myself to the vibrate mode in the model I bought in anything other than an extreme emergency (running into a highway or going after someone’s cat). These are controversial devices for a reason – in the wrong hands they can cause pain and that’s wrong – but if you love your dog and use it responsibly and cautiously I don’t see a problem with it.

tutorial for use of the device…. not training

  39. Ann Whiteside on July 6, 2022 at 8:14 am

Wow thank you .. so simply put how to use this type collar

I’m paying someone over $200 a half hour that didn’t do ANY of what you said …
NEVER AGAIN going into that situation .. EVER .. 🐾🐾💕

what is the fetch toy (white tube) that you use at 19-seconds? what is that toy called? where is it purchased?

  41. Sarah H on July 6, 2022 at 8:17 am

Where are the videos on how to set this up to a stronger vibrate setting? How do we increase it? I need something that shows all the settings in a video the papers are confusing. this isn’t enough information for a total beginner to your collar.

Do I have to have the remote ?

  43. 0311Ares on July 6, 2022 at 8:19 am

Just received mine in the mail. How do I know when it’s done charging? All I have is a steady green light when plugged in and charging.
