Rich Paul want Maxey out of Philly as well.

  2. professor willow on September 9, 2021 at 6:41 pm

Just keep not shooting every game and you will be traded ASAP….

  3. dbreiden83080 on September 9, 2021 at 6:46 pm

Nobody really wants him for the price Philadelphia is asking for. So outside of them massively dropping the price he isn’t going anywhere. Get used to it

  4. sebastian absolution on September 9, 2021 at 6:46 pm

sure benjamin, sit out an get fined every game you dont suit up for. these divas need a wake up call. start doccin the bloated contracts.

  5. MasterM2k on September 9, 2021 at 6:46 pm

As a sixers fan I want to keep Ben , but if someone don’t want to be there can’t help it

  6. Outkast Eternal on September 9, 2021 at 6:47 pm

Hold out brother hold out ,Daryl morey does not even deserve that job .he leapfrogged Elton brand after upsetting the entire country of China and is a fool .

  7. Chrazy_Skiin YT on September 9, 2021 at 6:47 pm

  8. S P on September 9, 2021 at 6:49 pm

Anyone else think it would be cool to see Simmons sit out 4 years, and see where his game is at in 5 years.

  9. S Y on September 9, 2021 at 6:52 pm

Go ahead a sit out dummy. You sat out the entire Hawks playoffs series. This is all apart of Simmons plan. As soon as he leaves Philly he’s goes from a terrible shooter to slightly above average shooter.

  10. Emerson on September 9, 2021 at 6:53 pm

Come to the Cs tho. Big three

  11. JESS on September 9, 2021 at 6:53 pm

I hope they don’t play his game.

  12. Bryandsil on September 9, 2021 at 6:53 pm

I hope morey lets him sit, this is a perfect time to take some power back. He signed a contract and needs to honor it .

  13. chris lamont on September 9, 2021 at 6:53 pm

Gentlemen this is an epic story about Philadelphia basketball in Philadelphia sports fans this is why this is the greatest sport city in America we don’t put up with l players that can’t shoot as good as some of the people in the stands

  14. j k on September 9, 2021 at 6:56 pm

Simmons instead of focusing on his shooting skills, he choose being a DIVA.

  15. Frosty Stallie on September 9, 2021 at 6:58 pm

He wants to go to one on the 3 Cali teams, so Sacramento, Sac-Town and the Kings.

  16. Jay King on September 9, 2021 at 6:59 pm

Trade him to a team he doesn’t wanna go to or make him pay fines everyday for next 3-4 years Tyrese Maxey starting PG!

  17. American Patriot on September 9, 2021 at 7:00 pm

These players always get a pass and circumvent these fine 96% of the time. They get away with tooo much i doubt they fine him. Simmons sucks geyt rid of him

  18. charles pitter on September 9, 2021 at 7:00 pm

A million dollars a week is crazy

  19. Later Gator on September 9, 2021 at 7:01 pm

    I wouldn’t trade this baby

  20. seazn furi on September 9, 2021 at 7:03 pm

    Ben Simmons to YMCA league!

  21. Topsy Kretts on September 9, 2021 at 7:03 pm

Simmons should show up and just make things uncomfortable on a day to say basis like what Windy said. Better than holding out and racking fines. Force the Sixers hand by making things difficult for them

  22. Donovin Lewis on September 9, 2021 at 7:04 pm

Ben gotta go cus how is yo center a better shooter than yo pg

  23. Jamie Carpenter on September 9, 2021 at 7:07 pm

Rich Paul and Lebron James have ruined the NBA and what is going to happen is Owners are to stop tying up their money long term in players. Why bother because they will force their way out. James Harden, Paul George, Anthony Davis and now Ben Simmons. Owners need to grow a pair and do one year deals; two year max and the second year a player option but stop giving them these long term contracts

  24. Leonard Aarons III on September 9, 2021 at 7:07 pm

Joel can tweet anything he wants trying to damage control this. It’s OVER. You got Ben getting roasted by newscasters during the local news. There’s no ‘come to Jesus’ meeting that makes this better. Ben isn’t going to get any better any time soon. His presence on that team after the Hawks fiasco will only keep old wounds festering with a fanbase that has had it.

Philly needs to do what it can to get some functional pieces around Joel and move on.

  25. third326 on September 9, 2021 at 7:10 pm

Brian Windbag is wrong. A contract is a legal document that both parties are expected to honor. Simmons has no leverage

  26. sicario bonesaw on September 9, 2021 at 7:10 pm

The media spins narratives for views

  27. Dan Hauser on September 9, 2021 at 7:11 pm

Morey and Stone… it out! Give em Gordon, House , Augustin, and 2 picks…….unless Wall works for you.
He is only young, plays defense, rebounds, and passes….3 out of 4 ain’t bad for an experienced All-Star.
How many teams need a defender of3-4 positions in one guy? Won’t need to shoot in Houston with our young guns!!
Makes sense…unless Simmons is not into it…. Help build a young team! I actually like him at a power 5 passing roll.
But if we are moving the ball with young guys…his transition play is what counts…not setting up behind the line!

  28. Shay Pathare on September 9, 2021 at 7:12 pm

Simmons had 4 off seasons to work on his shot, ANY shot!!
He got paid and chose not to do that.
If I were the sixers I would let him hold out and not even communicate with him.
He will be humiliated into working in his shot and free throws bc without a shot no contender wants him bc he’s a LIABILITY in the late games.

Let him get fined, don’t placate a guy who should have been working on his shot to begin with.
The same offers will be there and maybe better offers if he does work on his shooting. He signed a guaranteed contract. Sixers did their part.
Embid hurt but trying hard and getting better.
Simmons is really a disappointment and an argument against guaranteed contract in the next labor negotiations.

  29. PainandMotivation on September 9, 2021 at 7:12 pm

So trade him. Is not a big deal. Send him to the west.

  30. pepot sasori on September 9, 2021 at 7:13 pm

If im ben, ill jack up as much three as I can next season. 😂😂😂😂😂😂

  31. Douglas Turn on September 9, 2021 at 7:13 pm

    Nobody wants his contract.

  32. It's Yuh Boyyy on September 9, 2021 at 7:14 pm

This man about to get fined my yearly income in a day😂

  33. Matt Fillmore on September 9, 2021 at 7:14 pm

Sad that pro athletes cant honor their contracts like normal people.

  34. a name on September 9, 2021 at 7:15 pm

Send Ben Simmons to Portland for CJ McCollum

  35. letsgetsocialinfo on September 9, 2021 at 7:16 pm

He will play or he will go broke

  36. R on September 9, 2021 at 7:16 pm

This idea that players could demand more and be assertive is backfiring for obvious reasons, the fans forgot these guys are spoiled and delusional millionaires. Of course their ego will get in the way, which only hurts the final product. The guy is under contract and he doesn’t want to show up to work, lol it sounds like a bad joke, but these guys lives in another reality that running after a ball is more valuable to society than teachers or construction workers

  37. Ronda Jefferson on September 9, 2021 at 7:17 pm

He’s a rotten player. I would trade him but don’t trade him to the Warriors I would send him to somewhere he didn’t want to go. Like Minnesota 👍 👌

  38. a Wes on September 9, 2021 at 7:18 pm

Suspend without pay best comment by Barkey so far. Have Tyrese get a chance to run the offense. Make him watch.

  39. third326 on September 9, 2021 at 7:23 pm

Sixers have the leverage because they own the rights to Simmons for 3 years. They can sue him for breach of contract. That being said, Daryl Morey and Doc Rivers are both incompetent.

  40. Ian Raguse on September 9, 2021 at 7:25 pm

Brian Windhorst could hold out if ESPN doesn’t provide enough hoagies – Ben Simmons

  41. Emerson on September 9, 2021 at 7:27 pm

    Mad unprofessional

  42. Dwight Eldrich Manaol on September 9, 2021 at 7:28 pm

Ben Simmons is different. Harden tried but the Rockets missed their window; Pelicans failed AD and are failing Zion right now; Jimmy buckets was the only reason the Wolves ever had a taste of playoff contention. These guys proved their worth and the fans backed them for it. No fan is backing Ben Simmons and if he sits out this season expect boos from the Philly crows.

  43. the gummy sisters on September 9, 2021 at 7:30 pm

Its confirmed! Joe Lacob already confirms that trades are highly unlikely to happen unless its somebody “great” that no one is expecting. Myers also in one of his interviews said, they are being very very careful not to sacrifice any of their young assets in a trade. Lastly, they have a new coach, a big man coach who once coached Jokic. Coach Milojevic. This confirms their commitment to Wiseman and Kuminga.

  44. jaylovespti on September 9, 2021 at 7:31 pm

Baby Ben is gonna take his ball and go home cuz he dun wanna shoot! 👶 🍼

  45. Mario Hall on September 9, 2021 at 7:34 pm

NBA players throw fits to get traded these days.

  46. sedohema on September 9, 2021 at 7:34 pm

All those players weren’t afraid to shoot

  47. Mike on September 9, 2021 at 7:34 pm

Nice tweet on Ben by Joel ‘Troll" Embiid

  48. Shadow Caster on September 9, 2021 at 7:34 pm

Ben probably saw that ad did that on the pelicans and managed to get traded to the Lakers so he’s probably trying to do the same thing and so far it’s failing

  49. TreVon Wilkins on September 9, 2021 at 7:38 pm

I would pull the marshawn lynch
