In the Disney Princess Palace Pets Royal Pet Salon Game, players move through the royal spa collecting cards that match items in each of the castle’s rooms. The object is to be the player with the most cards when the game ends. The game, for two to four players, comes with a game board, four interlocking wall panels, two plastic wall braces, four pet movers, a spinner, a clock frame, four clock tiles, and 49 cards with images of different items on them.
Before you play, you’ll need to assemble the game board and choose which Palace Pet mover you want to play with. Place the pet movers in the lounge area of the game board, and place the four clock tiles and frame near the game board. Shuffle the cards and turn over the top three cards, setting them face-up next to the game board. Players take turns spinning the spinner and moving according to what the spinner lands on. Players may get to flip over one, two, or three cards and move their pet mover up to three rooms. If you get to move through the rooms, try to land on a room that has items pictured on the face-up cards because if there are items on the face-up cards that match items in the room your pet mover is in, you get to collect those cards.
If the spinner lands on the clock, you must place one clock tile in the frame. When all four clock tiles are in the frame, the game is over. The game can also end when all the cards have been collected, whichever comes first. Count up your cards and the player with the most cards wins.
