FFXI: 75 BST Solo Merrow No.5 Un-touched

I used Pet Food Zeta to space time between pets.

used Beast Gaiters (AF1 Shoes) and Monster Jackcoat (Relic Body) as Macro gear to boost the amount of HP recovered when “Reward” was used.

I used CourierCarrie to start the fight, to save time on Leeches.

I also used “Beast Bazubands” to slow the death rate of my pets down.

Charm gear used was: Panther Mask, Gaudy Harness, Beast Trousers, Volunteer’s Nails, Trainers Gloves, Corsette +1, and Bird Necklace.

A tip for the wise: Always use the 2 leeches in the far back, do not use the ones by the ghost.

Keep Merrow No. 5 in the middle, and fight her there, then when you use the leech that is furthest back and “Leave” him when he is about to die, instead of waiting for his health to regen, he will just re-pop 2 minutes later.

    great video. i went 1/5 before she dropped my boots. haven’t played the game seriously in about three years but BST is definitely the most fun job.

    Why do people assume every BST solo video is there to impress people? I haven’t fought this NM, but it couldn’t be THAT easy. There’s people that say the same things about Ancient Goobbue too..

    no one said it was there to impress. i simply said that it is too weak. the vid is sped up and you can still see the leeches tank her forever. plenty of time to rest the only risk is getting charmed. but she’s an easy fight. ancient goob isnt that bad either. but anyone who says he is easy is nuts, he’s more luck than skill. but noobs dont attempt
