A few people have reached out to me with news that they purchased the Answers Pet Food fermented fish stock recently and it’s not the same.
🐟 the color is different
🐠 it doesn’t have a strong smell
Did the sourcing and/or processing change?
I recently had a call with two current Answers Pet Food employees and they assured me that nothing has changed so maybe what I purchased yesterday (5/21/21) came from an off batch.
Whatever the reason, something is different.
What do you think?
FERMENTED FISH STOCK 1 – purchased in May 2021, expires March 10, 2022.
FERMENTED FISH STOCK 2 – purchased July 21, 2021, expires May 11, 2023.

The goat milk is different also, more watery
I haven’t bought any of the fish stock ever. No real reason other than we don’t have a good supplier near us.
I have been thinking about you regarding the heat wave and hoping that you’re doing well.
You are NOT wrong!!!! the kefir is also different now too!! NO WERE near as strong as it was before!! i’m assuming that ALL of their products have been "watered down" to save cost as the new owner cares only about money to me and not the pets well being!!! SO SAD. My WORST fears have been confirmed!!!!!

When people stop buying their new formula they will bring back the classic formula just like what happened to coke when they changed their formula 😁
Well I haven’t purchased any answers pet products yet but this isn’t new in the pet food industries……what’s causing this is inflation, the rise in grain cost causes everything to go up. Either the pet food company gives you less for the same price or the same for more money. Personally I feel that pet food companies shouldn’t change their formulas because any little change it throws our pets system off . Remember what Dr. Becker once said to rotate your proteins and kibble manufactures in cause of changes.
