    Is copyright anti-capitalist?

  2. 13whip13 on August 18, 2020 at 10:10 pm

Imo only a little btch would let someone take their car because of some vague licensing lawsuit. Absolute worst case scenario- disassemble and sell. I have trouble believing these people are soo dumb.

  3. snoogans 1984 on August 18, 2020 at 10:11 pm

Should have named it helleanor or deleanor. That’s garbage. What kind of dick takes someone’s project car over a copy righted name.

  4. Moxzot on August 18, 2020 at 10:11 pm

This makes no sense with them taking the car, they can call it Eleanor all they want until it has the name printed on it, unless the name was painted on the car somewhere they have no legal power just off you calling it a name.

  5. John Stivers on August 18, 2020 at 10:12 pm

    Such bs that that happened

  6. Bryan Crawford on August 18, 2020 at 10:13 pm

That was so frustrating! Poor guy! Love B is for Build.

  7. maarten194 on August 18, 2020 at 10:14 pm

I call my mustang Herby from now on

  8. Josh Cassidy on August 18, 2020 at 10:15 pm

B OBVIOUSLY isn’t for balls. if that was me, that lawyer would have walked away naked and bleeding for trying this stupid shit. What happened to manning up and punching a bitch in the face when they come talking about stupid shit? I dot get it. where are this guys balls from b is for build.

  9. jhnnsn on August 18, 2020 at 10:21 pm

    if they just….renamed it?

  10. Christer Nilsson on August 18, 2020 at 10:21 pm

Just shows how braindead america is………..

  11. mclehed77mtb on August 18, 2020 at 10:22 pm

So I’ll say the same thing I said on b is for Build channel, ever since he started that build he said what he was building, I think that they waited til it was almost done then take it away as far as I’m concern they just wanted to see if it was possible n when the see it was the stole it.
Instead of waiting someone from the llc should be reached out.

  12. garage worm 17 on August 18, 2020 at 10:22 pm

Did you H.B broke his arm when he hit the telephone pole and still finished the movie he was one badass dude

  13. TheBabyDerp on August 18, 2020 at 10:23 pm

They need to come try that shit in Alabama or any decent state. We wouldn’t let it happen. The moment they touch my property they will be looking down a barrel. Make one wrong move and they will die. I don’t care if I go to prison. No one is hauling away any property of mine.

  14. Snow on August 18, 2020 at 10:23 pm

Fu— Eleanor licensing llc, all my homies hate Eleanor licensing llc.

  16. Thomas Malafarina on August 18, 2020 at 10:26 pm

Taking the car don’t make sense cuz what they do after with it

  17. Neil Hale on August 18, 2020 at 10:26 pm

Just make sure you name it something other than Eleanor, Melanie wold be a good choice. On Universal It gets people interested in the movie.

  18. Michael Dixon on August 18, 2020 at 10:30 pm

    Thanks for a great video

  19. datsunpolo on August 18, 2020 at 10:34 pm

hold on , they couldn’t just change the video titles and say its a mustang restomod ? i mean they didn’t try to sell it.. crazy

  20. LEVI EBERT 27 on August 18, 2020 at 10:34 pm

I like to think the reason y they didn’t sue people for the car is maybe that it’s a delorian it’s not a good car besides it’s role in the back to the future so what would they do with 90 delorians in the garage lol

  21. Sukotto21 on August 18, 2020 at 10:35 pm

how to win ? let all custom builders name their builds Eleanor. Let us see if they still sue

  22. Petrol head on August 18, 2020 at 10:36 pm

    you forgot transformers 😭😭

  23. xoobo vola on August 18, 2020 at 10:37 pm

Don’t forget one guy that put a dominoes spark car back together was getting hassled by dominoes to surrender the vehicle.

  24. Joseph Priolo on August 18, 2020 at 10:39 pm

If he said, "No. Screw you, I’m not giving up MY project car that I PAID FOR with MY MONEY." What would happen? Would police and collection officers come pounding on his door demanding he surrender his property?

  25. Dion K on August 18, 2020 at 10:39 pm

HELLeanor sounds way cooler anyway , sucks about the car they took tho

wait phineas and ferb is disney and marval is disney too??

  28. ronald broersma on August 18, 2020 at 10:44 pm

A: Griep/influenza.

Klaar.

1.5m views on this but not 1.5 of Chris’s build.

  30. Pratham Sharma on August 18, 2020 at 10:45 pm

What if an old man who has an old mustang named Eleanor from say 1960 ‘s and named it before the moveie ?what would happen I guess then the guy should sue them .

  31. Bryant Moore on August 18, 2020 at 10:45 pm

That lady is just a gold digger. Which is a tragedy, because it was a great build. They one they’re doing now is so bad in comparison.

  32. stickvortex on August 18, 2020 at 10:45 pm

It’s insane how someone can take your stuff just because you called your thing a particular name. “Land of the free” lmao

  33. Isaac Yak L. on August 18, 2020 at 10:46 pm

    *Temecula, CA

  34. Aleksander Øyen on August 18, 2020 at 10:47 pm

    Should have named it Ellinawr

  35. Tha Silent One on August 18, 2020 at 10:48 pm

FUNNY they waited til it was almost done SMFH . Got to be a REAL POS to steal from someone in this mannor

  36. Vølga on August 18, 2020 at 10:50 pm

They can take personal property in US just by naming it? Doesn’t sound like the country of freedom you say it is.

  37. Michael Randol on August 18, 2020 at 10:50 pm

That’s just insane someone trying to do that and seize someone’s car because of a name involved. They deserve a bullet between their eyes not someone else’s purchased hard work.

  38. F13 Media on August 18, 2020 at 10:53 pm

copyrights and patents are the reason we are evolving so slow….. its a cancer for humanity

  40. Jokkiー101 on August 18, 2020 at 10:54 pm

When you’re making a username and the name is already taken: Username : Eleanor : Name already taken try another one or get your car stolen.

  41. Michael Lawlor on August 18, 2020 at 10:55 pm

I was so excited to see this build finished. Then this cooyright bullshit happened.

  42. bilishu aliss on August 18, 2020 at 10:55 pm

B is for build should’ve gotten a lawyer. I’m 90% certain that the fair use act could’ve been used to protect them from said copyright

  43. David Cabrera on August 18, 2020 at 10:55 pm

    Btw it’s Temecula,CA!

  44. Benjamin Delnat on August 18, 2020 at 10:57 pm

Building a replica for yourself as a passion project is one thing. Building a replica, while using the trademarked name with the sole purpose to sell ad space and generate YouTube revenue as a business endeavor is an entirely different animal. It’s just an expensive lesson for Chris to learn. Things are taken more seriously when money is involved.

  45. Erwin Patio on August 18, 2020 at 10:59 pm

I used to love Eleanor and Mustangs back in early 2000, but fast forward 20 years and I’m getting sick of it. I guess, familiarity breeds contempt. Every time I go to a muscle car meet here in the Philippines all I see are Mustangs and Eleanors, . . . and Lambos, and Porshes, and BMWs – which are not technically Muscle Cars.

  46. Stijn on August 18, 2020 at 10:59 pm

Marketing rather than Protecting. Universal is cool like that… wow!

  47. Zbinden Dominik on August 18, 2020 at 10:59 pm

That kind of behavior the recipe for being a dick and Karen in one. I hate those companies!

  48. Wolfy on August 18, 2020 at 10:59 pm

Eleanor Licensing LLC will get rioted if they keep it up like that xD

  49. the red bearded fox on August 18, 2020 at 11:01 pm

One day I’m going to make my own version and call it helleanor. Maybe reverse the paint so it’s black with silver stripes.

  50. Raging Lunatik on August 18, 2020 at 11:01 pm

Literally nothing they did justifies them taking the car. Fuck Eleanor. They could have just asked them to change the name. The ford mustang is someone elses property too. Do they pay ford for the use of their property? Seems pretty hypocritical.
