Finally, a dehydrated treat video as requested! In this video I go over what meats are best to dehydrate, how to prepare them, dehydrating temperatures, and how long they take until they’re done! Don’t have a dehydrator? No worries, you can also dehydrate with your conventional oven.

The liver 🤮, i can’t 😂
This is your dad asking a question if you don’t know that already. Is it safe for humans to eat any of that? Do you? I am super proud of you sweetheart!❤🙏🤗
I’m going to start making my own! Tysm <3
I just started raw feeding my dog and she doesn’t like raw liver and raw heart. Can I give dehydrated liver as the 5% liver or should I just boil it?
Is it okay if it isn’t thoroughly dry/dehydrated?
I’d like to have a horizontal dehydrator just like yours !
I make my own dehydrated treats once a month for Happy my dog and he is kean on it ! +, it’s much cheaper than buying already dehydrated food.
How do u store it? In the fridge or In a container? Or both?
Hello 🙂 are there no issues when it comes to the little square ones? I mean, will not they scratch our furry friend’s mouth because of the edges? Ordered a dehydrator machine yesterday and so excited to try these! Thanks very much 🙂
Your music choices, are so appropriate. 😄
Hello! I’m new to raw feeding and have recently started my dog 50% raw and 50%kibble. Since I still feed kibble and some nutrients in the kibble can be more which may let me get away with supplementing some nutrients and I’m kinda lost on how I can calculate if I still need to add in foods to fill those nutrition holes. It’s kinda hard to explain ahhhh. I’m feeding nature’s logic original btw, perhaps you can make a video about it?
Excellent video and just in time as I am getting my order today from the farmers for this purpose.
Awesome video! I have been wanting to make treats for my dog so I got some chicken gizzard and these are her new favorite treats! Even my cat likes them (I have tried feeding him every meat and organ I could find but he doesn’t like anything)
Matsu is so damn cute when he periscopes🥰
Freeze drying vs dehydrating: which is more nutritious?
if you live in Scotland morrisons has most of this
Great content, the research and data behind the videos are very much appreciated.
As a future suggestion, if you are open to them, a video about preparing/preserving each protein and organs would be great. One of the greatest challenges when balancing my dogs raw diet came when i was searching the safety, based on bacteria preservation, of each meat.
Amazing stuff as usual!!!
This was super informative -and your pets are so cute, thank you so much! My dehydrator was just delivered a few minutes ago and I’m already looking for recipes 😂 anyways, new subscriber here! ☀️
Can you use an air fryer to oven blast?
Pig ears form the store still have the skin on them. They remove the hair by dunking the pig carcass in boiling water for a minute or two. After that the hair is easy to scrape off. The process is called scalding the pig. You can do it too ears at home in a pot if you want to get rid of the hair. It would probably only take a quick dunk.
Does it matter how much muscular organ I can feed?
This video was perfectly timed. I just started making my own treats. This was so helpful. Thank you
Thank you so much for the amazing video!!!
Those pig ears are visually stunning! I’ve never seen pig ears with hair on.
Amazon link doesn’t work 🙁 love the video tho! can’t wait for your next video!
Where did you get the mould of little squares?
Good ideas! Love your shirt btw.
I wonder how much electricity it takes. Like. Do you really save money ?
I died when that dog sat up on his back legs. What a cutie 💓 😍 💖 💕
My jaw dropped when you blended the liver 😃 WHY DID IT LOOK LIKE THAT
Is oven blasted dehydrated treats salmonella free? Thank you
Are they still considered raw if they are dehydrated? If yes are they still considered raw after blasting in the oven for 3 minutes? Or does it change the composition?
what if my oven has a dehydrate button ??
if you dehydrate snacks and they are not yet done, are they still ok to give to a dog or cat?
Woo what breed is that corgi? Is it a mix of husky? Looks cool
the molds are called lick mats
I’ve been dehydrating treats for quite some time now and how to do liver has always eluded me …..so thanks for that.
Tangy was so adorable when he agreed to try his treat that I had to replay it like three times 😭
Also, super well done video as always!
Dude this needs to be on Netflix. I also have a question I see people feed their dogs raw uncooked hot dogs is that safe. I did a google search some say yes others say no. Can you do store-bought treats that are safe and well as bones. I was looking around on chewy.
How do we freeze Dry without a freeze dryer? I want to feed my dog freeze dried dog food but the commercially prepared and balanced once are very expensive but still I don’t want to feed my dog dehydrated pet food can you help me🥺😩😫😩🥺😩😫😖😣
Do you know how long you can store the jerky form?
Fat won’t dehydrate the same as meat. Trim away as much as you can ( put it on the bird table, in small pieces) then put the meat on the trays of the dehydrator to create tasty treats for your pal.
I made dehydrated pig skin for my dog yesterday, I’m going to give them to her today to see if she likes them.
Love all your videos you have been a great resource for us! One question if you are able to answer or maybe I missed it in the video – if feeding dehydrated liver as a training treat is it the same value as regular liver for their daily portion or is it now less because it’s been dehyrdrated (for example if I weigh these and incorporate it into my dogs meal plan as their daily percentage is it the same value as liver that hasn’t been dehydrated?)
This video has been such a huge help, thank you so much! I recently found out that my dog is intolerant to some of the preservatives found in most store-bought treats so I bought a dehydrator to start making my own. I’ve made multiple batches using this video as a guide and they turned out great!
my oven only goes to 90 degrees C . OOFERS But maybe I can ask my parents to get a dehydrator sometime, I really wanna make my own treats, its healthier and you know whats in them. Maybe I can get one that is used or second hand, so its cheaper, does the job right?
