  6. Jenn Dela Cruz on October 8, 2021 at 11:18 pm

I just started raw feeding my dog and she doesn’t like raw liver and raw heart. Can I give dehydrated liver as the 5% liver or should I just boil it?

  7. Stella Wu on October 8, 2021 at 11:19 pm

Is it okay if it isn’t thoroughly dry/dehydrated?

  8. TheHappyDog on October 8, 2021 at 11:19 pm

I’d like to have a horizontal dehydrator just like yours !
I make my own dehydrated treats once a month for Happy my dog and he is kean on it ! +, it’s much cheaper than buying already dehydrated food.

Hello 🙂 are there no issues when it comes to the little square ones? I mean, will not they scratch our furry friend’s mouth because of the edges? Ordered a dehydrator machine yesterday and so excited to try these! Thanks very much 🙂

Hello! I’m new to raw feeding and have recently started my dog 50% raw and 50%kibble. Since I still feed kibble and some nutrients in the kibble can be more which may let me get away with supplementing some nutrients and I’m kinda lost on how I can calculate if I still need to add in foods to fill those nutrition holes. It’s kinda hard to explain ahhhh. I’m feeding nature’s logic original btw, perhaps you can make a video about it?

Awesome video! I have been wanting to make treats for my dog so I got some chicken gizzard and these are her new favorite treats! Even my cat likes them (I have tried feeding him every meat and organ I could find but he doesn’t like anything)

if you live in Scotland morrisons has most of this

  18. Taf Kei on October 8, 2021 at 11:26 pm

Great content, the research and data behind the videos are very much appreciated.
As a future suggestion, if you are open to them, a video about preparing/preserving each protein and organs would be great. One of the greatest challenges when balancing my dogs raw diet came when i was searching the safety, based on bacteria preservation, of each meat.

Can you use an air fryer to oven blast?

  22. Pizza Rat on October 8, 2021 at 11:31 pm

Pig ears form the store still have the skin on them. They remove the hair by dunking the pig carcass in boiling water for a minute or two. After that the hair is easy to scrape off. The process is called scalding the pig. You can do it too ears at home in a pot if you want to get rid of the hair. It would probably only take a quick dunk.

  34. N Alt on October 8, 2021 at 11:46 pm

Are they still considered raw if they are dehydrated? If yes are they still considered raw after blasting in the oven for 3 minutes? Or does it change the composition?

  35. Karice Austin on October 8, 2021 at 11:48 pm

  36. Axine 28 on October 8, 2021 at 11:48 pm

  40. Tara Cornell on October 8, 2021 at 11:59 pm

  41. Tr Vlogs Car Life on October 8, 2021 at 11:59 pm

Dude this needs to be on Netflix. I also have a question I see people feed their dogs raw uncooked hot dogs is that safe. I did a google search some say yes others say no. Can you do store-bought treats that are safe and well as bones. I was looking around on chewy.

How do we freeze Dry without a freeze dryer? I want to feed my dog freeze dried dog food but the commercially prepared and balanced once are very expensive but still I don’t want to feed my dog dehydrated pet food can you help me🥺😩😫😩🥺😩😫😖😣

  44. Yasmine Naia on October 9, 2021 at 12:02 am

Do you know how long you can store the jerky form?

  45. Michaela Hughes on October 9, 2021 at 12:02 am

Fat won’t dehydrate the same as meat. Trim away as much as you can ( put it on the bird table, in small pieces) then put the meat on the trays of the dehydrator to create tasty treats for your pal.

  46. Sparky Kitsune on October 9, 2021 at 12:05 am

I made dehydrated pig skin for my dog yesterday, I’m going to give them to her today to see if she likes them.

  47. Dave Czir on October 9, 2021 at 12:06 am

Love all your videos you have been a great resource for us! One question if you are able to answer or maybe I missed it in the video – if feeding dehydrated liver as a training treat is it the same value as regular liver for their daily portion or is it now less because it’s been dehyrdrated (for example if I weigh these and incorporate it into my dogs meal plan as their daily percentage is it the same value as liver that hasn’t been dehydrated?)

  48. Devon Garvey on October 9, 2021 at 12:08 am

This video has been such a huge help, thank you so much! I recently found out that my dog is intolerant to some of the preservatives found in most store-bought treats so I bought a dehydrator to start making my own. I’ve made multiple batches using this video as a guide and they turned out great!

  49. Lina Guasca on October 9, 2021 at 12:08 am

    Great video!

  50. Joice Mou on October 9, 2021 at 12:10 am

my oven only goes to 90 degrees C . OOFERS But maybe I can ask my parents to get a dehydrator sometime, I really wanna make my own treats, its healthier and you know whats in them. Maybe I can get one that is used or second hand, so its cheaper, does the job right?
