  14. marietta gartner on June 27, 2021 at 12:43 pm

Could this be done (Kong in a puppy bed) when we all go to bed at night- and puppy hopefully goes to his bed at night- rather than ours ? (yes I do give in every night- my first ever puppy and I’m in my mid 60+)

  15. Summer Lemonade on June 27, 2021 at 12:44 pm

    Thanks for the video!

  16. KittenyKat on June 27, 2021 at 12:45 pm

Do you have any tips for helping me train my dog to stop play-growling? It’s something he started as a puppy (unfortunately a bad habit he learned from our older adopted dog) and he’s getting worse about it, now he growls at almost everyone other than my mom when he sees them, and it’s getting harder to tell if he’s being playful or not. 🙁

  17. WINCHESTER VANDERBILT on June 27, 2021 at 12:49 pm

Yeah you totally thought it was a sex toy.

  18. BluDragon Truck on June 27, 2021 at 12:50 pm

My wife has stuffed my sons kong with sweet potatoes

  25. Mark B. on June 27, 2021 at 12:53 pm

My dog isn’t having it. He takes a couple of licks of the PB and is done with it. Won’t even finish the PB, much less eat his kibble.

  26. smileyspoon1 on June 27, 2021 at 12:53 pm

OH MY GOD THIS JUST BLEW MY MIND. I’m a new puppy owner and wanted to train how to crate effectively and to use Kong. This is great!

  27. margaret cole on June 27, 2021 at 12:54 pm

My dog loved his. He ate it along with the treats ,I had to take it away when I saw what he was doing. He still got a piece inside. I bought the largest they had. I bought beef bones instead.

  28. Dave Rowley on June 27, 2021 at 12:59 pm

If they had social media 40 years ago,it would be like; "well a rolled up newspaper does the trick for me" Or " rub his nose in it,that’ll teach him to go outside"
We’ve really came a long way,I don’t know many dog owners who don’t capitalize on all the info now available through social media.
Champ and I are grateful for good people like Simpawtico, thanks for helping us and ultimately helping dogs!

  29. Kev Wills on June 27, 2021 at 12:59 pm

They don’t love it . It’s really hard to get food out of it . They ruin their tongue

  30. Militia Dad on June 27, 2021 at 1:00 pm

    Quick question.
If you feed them their meals in the crate (3 times a day) do you give them kongs while their in their crate when you go out to run errands ? If so, what do you put in those kongs so that they are not being over fed ?
We have a 9 week old pup and are building a schedual with regular crated ‘naps’ and am a bit confused by this. Do they always need a kong when they are in the crate or are other chew toys just as effective ?

  31. Juno Wood on June 27, 2021 at 1:02 pm

i have a 7 month old akita inu pup and having a hard time chosing the right kong. i bought the extreme XL but i feel like it is to big / hard to chew for her. what is the appropriate size?

  32. austin hoover on June 27, 2021 at 1:02 pm

Amen to this. I can’t count how many dogs behaviors I’ve fixed or reduced by this tactic. People always hate hearing it or don’t want to but it’s true.

  33. Ryan Malone on June 27, 2021 at 1:04 pm

    Who is this chick?

  34. I Don’t Know How But Dallon Killed Me on June 27, 2021 at 1:04 pm

i just hope that this will help with my labs chewing habits! they’ve absolutely destroyed my area rugs in the house and i have tried everything to get them to quit!

  35. Julie Lemming on June 27, 2021 at 1:08 pm

Okay you say don’t buy the cheese with type stuff and I never have, where I work at they’ve actually given it to us for free. Any suggestions, mind you I’ve never paid for this garbage junk.

  36. SimpleOne2 on June 27, 2021 at 1:09 pm

This video was Amazing! I’m definitely going to do this from now on. Thank You!!

  37. MM02 on June 27, 2021 at 1:11 pm

I just got a Kong for puppies up to 20 pounds and sometimes he barks at it like he’s getting mad. Is that normal?

  38. HumanOddity69 on June 27, 2021 at 1:12 pm

0:21 "and before we start stuffing kongs." me awkwardly thinking "I’ve seen that shape somewhere before and I wouldn’t let my dog play with it."

  39. senraXD on June 27, 2021 at 1:13 pm

    2:35 –
No, the Classic is not the most durable… The Extreme is.

  40. Elizabeth Healy on June 27, 2021 at 1:15 pm

    I have a question!!!
What rope do you use for the anchor? I want to make sure it’s safe, my puppy is a chewer!!!

  41. irene kegel on June 27, 2021 at 1:16 pm

    What a lie

  42. ReGina Anderson on June 27, 2021 at 1:17 pm

Do you put 1 serving of food in the Kong?

  43. YxngBullMike on June 27, 2021 at 1:19 pm

Can the king be filled with wet food?

  44. Juan Bolanos on June 27, 2021 at 1:21 pm

I guess that remaining 10% is the resource guarding. I give my dog a filled Kong toy and its game over, he resource guards it and lunges at anyone that gets near. Currently trying to desensitize the behavior and hopefully fix it but man…it is not easy and it is stressful.

  45. Jeff Poupore on June 27, 2021 at 1:23 pm

Hi. Just found your channel and am depressed that I didn’t find it earlier! Great KISS information. Question: Can you use the raw meat food for freezing in the Kong? Mainly wondering if since it comes frozen and then we thaw it for feeding if it would it be ok to refreeze it in the Kong? Is it too messy? etc FYI: The dog is an American Bully.

  46. Jerimey Winebarger on June 27, 2021 at 1:23 pm

I bought a few of the black kongs but my American bandogg chewed rite through it in less than 10min. Seems like they wouldn’t say they’re indestructible

  47. David T on June 27, 2021 at 1:24 pm

Most dog owners are too lazy to train their pets and get mad at the animal their ignorance creates.

  48. ANU START on June 27, 2021 at 1:24 pm

What if, instead, it teaches your dog to want to drag his food bowl to the kennel with him because he now prefers eating in his room like some kind of teenage human?

  49. Ren Alcantara on June 27, 2021 at 1:24 pm

Followed all the tips, and I still behave badly. Please advise.

  50. Dream Girl on June 27, 2021 at 1:28 pm

Very helpful. I never understood what to do w/ kongs. Always thought they were shaped weird.
