So question. I have a 2 channel boss in my jeep. It has 4 terminals +- +- I have 2 10s kicker comps. In a box. I have subs bridged channel 1 + on one wire. And 2nd sub wire on channel 2. –
Sounds good… BUT. Is their a way to run my 2 kicker stereo speakers thru the amp as well? Or can I only run them off headunit being as I have 2 bridged subs ?

2017, lets take a shot.. Is it possible to unplug the Bose amp (2003 silverado) and wire that plug to a new and better amp? If you can eliminate the amp by looping the wires into a new plug, seems like that same plug could be wired into another amp. maybe???

Awesome video, nice explained everything. I have a question, I have a Nissan titan truck with after market stereo and speakers, 2 small speakers on the dashboard, 2 on the front door and a set of 6.5" mid range on the rear doors with crossovers and tweeters, also a 10" subwoofer. I just got a new amp a pioneer GM- DX874 class D 4 channel . A friend give me a dual subwoofer goes under the back sit, can I use this amplifier to connect this dual sub with the speakers or do I need to get a separate amp just for the subs?

  22. mightymite on July 17, 2021 at 2:02 am

My issue is. I now have a 13’tsx with 10 speakers and only an old school 2 Chanel forsgate 700s amp

  23. Ashley Penner on July 17, 2021 at 2:02 am

So im trying to do a 5 channel on a 4 channel amp. Some of my speaker wire were bad so i thought I’d upgrade to 10 gauge. With this, I cant get two speakers to connect the way its shown in the video. Can I do a Y split, connecting positives with positive to amp, and negative with negative to amp? Or can I use distributive blocks? I’m a noob if you cant tell

Very good video ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿ‘. The method described for installing subwoofer and 2 speakers together on 2 channel amp is applicable for home amp of 360 watt RMS power?

    What speaker wire is that

  27. Steven Gogakos on July 17, 2021 at 2:08 am

I want to ask if I set my amplifier as 5 channel (6:10)in your video, I have 4 speakers (front 30watt rms, rear 70watt rms) at 4 ohms and my amplifier is 4X50watt rms at 4 omhs. My subwofer bridged as you show. My sbwoofer is 150watt rms at 8 omhs but I will connect a resistance 50watt of 8ohms parallel. will I have a problem?

  28. Stuart Owens on July 17, 2021 at 2:09 am

Finally! Someone who explains it in a way that makes sense. Great video.

  34. chrischrisi01 on July 17, 2021 at 2:15 am

Can a amp with four channels be connected to 2 6×9 (those are going under the seats) with two bullet tweeters and 2 subwoofers thatโ€™s what Iโ€™m trying to wire with the audio pipe that has 4 channels

  35. BRIAN Gousby on July 17, 2021 at 2:17 am

    Thank you sir.

  36. Michael Williams on July 17, 2021 at 2:18 am

Ok this is probably an obvious answer but if you run the wiring from the amp to the speaker locations what do you do with the factory wiring coming from both the harness and at the speaker connections?

  37. James Painter on July 17, 2021 at 2:20 am

Some extremely valuable feedback: that musical background is anoooying and deterred me from listening and had to turn it off!

  38. brian Sawyer on July 17, 2021 at 2:23 am

So basically all bridging does is utilize the power from the amp, so if you have a 2 channel amp and one sub you are taking the power from the other channel and putting it all to that one sub/channel?

  39. Chris Lopez on July 17, 2021 at 2:23 am

Just watching this I burned out one of my 6x9s

  40. gtxb gt on July 17, 2021 at 2:26 am

How man watts is the amp you used for the 4 speaker 1 sub? … very nice video learned a lot

  41. ROBXFL1222 on July 17, 2021 at 2:26 am

Lol video was useless didn’t show how to run the wires to speaker or anything

  42. Strat tone 73 on July 17, 2021 at 2:27 am

Its STR8 forward when u hooking even amount of spkers nd using same ohms!! Gets complicated when u run into uneven amout of spkrs !! Thats were it gets challenging as per how to get the best power nd clarity out the system!! In my case i have 12 spkrs OEM nd replacing all them w higher watts all @4 ohms,,,, w 2 amps, one a5 ch w 5th ch for bass D class ch , nd the other a2 ch D CLASS sub amp , both rated each 2500w , all my speakers rated each at 200w w 3 subs rated each@ 300-600w 4 ohm

    On a 4 channel amp

  46. wuntyful on July 17, 2021 at 2:31 am

so… call me an idiot, but didnt you just wire your 5 channel as a 3 channel??…

  47. Guero Burban on July 17, 2021 at 2:31 am

Thanks you answered my question about 2 channel amp to 4 speakers!!!

  48. S sam on July 17, 2021 at 2:32 am

Do these amplifier have inbuilt crossover which divides frequency between subs and high frequency speaker

  49. Jesse Cruz on July 17, 2021 at 2:32 am

When you say your running the door speakers parallel in the 5 channel example. Does that mean you’re changing the impedance? Thats confusing cos i have 4ohm speakers and by doing this will they go down to 2 ohm? I only ask cos i was trying to go with super tweeters which i could bridge. But if this changes my impedance from 4 ohm to 2 ohm it may fry my speakers as the amp at 2 ohm goes above the safety power guideline of the speakers

I’m late but thanks so much. I learned alot from this video.
