New pet owner here! Can you please look at the panel of fresh pet food for small breed and also can you talk about different certifications such as WSAVA. I am so lost and just want the best for my new pup

    Just found out I’ve been feeding my dogs shitty food for years ;-;

  4. TheJammerlee on March 24, 2022 at 8:16 am

I’d love it if you would consider a video on Natural Balance specifically. Also as a video recommendation, maybe something on how to work with coaxing a picky dog into eating? .. Especially a dog who’s become picky and refuses to eat after a recent illness. Asking for a friend. That friend is my chihuahua

  5. Deborah Malandra on March 24, 2022 at 8:16 am

Is it necessary to use same brand for dry and wet puppy/dog food? Also, you you have a specific recommendation for Cavalier King Charles Spaniels? I read they need some grains because of tendency to have heart issues. Thank you for your informative videos.

What about blue, I’ve been told that blue is a good brand, I been giving my dogs blue for years

  7. Jay Lew on March 24, 2022 at 8:18 am

Please do a cat food review!!!!!!! Soon

  13. Ruth Esther on March 24, 2022 at 8:22 am

Love your review on the canned dog food. Pedigree told me they don’t use 4 d meats but if they do they will never admit it. I like the cheers list. You can feed your dog a decent canned dog food and not go bankrupt. You and the dog will be happy. Dog food prices are really going up, but I hope people will stay away from pee pee poo poo and the yuckies. Thanks😬😬😬👌👍

  14. gusvortech on March 24, 2022 at 8:24 am

I was looking at both wet dry dog food vids, I was hoping you could mention your thoughts on Nutro. I feed both the dry, I add wet, and a topping, plus I’ll add in mushrooms, and salmon oil. Both dry and wet are Nutro. I’m wondering how I’m doing.
Like you say, I’d like to still buy food from a local store in case I need a bag quickly, but I really don’t know what bag is decent/better quality food for my girl Delta. She’s a German Shepherd.
I do think ultimately I want to get her into a raw diet, but there are so many things out in the net. I’d like a book recommendation I could read on for when I get her onto the raw feed, I do a good job. 😊 thank you so much.

thank you for posting this i used to buy my dogs food on veterinary recommendations but you’ve helped me understand it takes more than that.

    Thank You……What about Acana???

  17. Sophie Moon on March 24, 2022 at 8:29 am

Thanks a lot 🧡 My dog definitely loves farmina! “all flavours”! (I’ve tired to feed him like mostly every canned food that seemed pretty okay for me: terra canis, natural gretaness, lilys kitchen, ziwipeak, retorn, edgard cooper, natures menu, gosbi, alpha spirit, etc and he didn’t really like them) i would like to buy stella and orijen but cannot buy them in europe:(

  18. XKULLY on March 24, 2022 at 8:29 am

Your goated fr 🙏❤️ thanks for the knowledge I was adjusting my diets and avoiding natural flavors and additives and preservatives and wanted to do the same for my dogs diet

  19. Daric Zamora on March 24, 2022 at 8:29 am

Hi, your channel is so informative and extremely helpful, I was wondering what are your thoughts about single ingredient canned foods, such as against the grain or evangers? Thank you in advance

  20. Happy N Clermont on March 24, 2022 at 8:31 am

What do you think of Wellness; I was advised by a professional dog breeder it’s one of the best.

  21. Familia Hernandez on March 24, 2022 at 8:32 am

What you think or what would you rate Wholesomes sensitive skin and stomach dry dog food?

  24. Jeannie Martinez on March 24, 2022 at 8:36 am

What do you think of freshpet dog food? It’s a new wet-ish dog food they sell at costco

  25. deborah lariscy on March 24, 2022 at 8:36 am

You are awesome ! You are very professional, and I appreciate it. I am using YOUR info to find a new can/wet food for my doggie. I’ve listened to a couple of your presentations, and now I’m here, ready to take you recommendations. Your knowledge is so evident, and I appreciate an independent review with analysis behind it. Your rules help us make a decision on almost any food out there – knowledge is power !! I would like info on whether "stew" or "ground/pate" is preferable. I’m thinking the stew has more broth or maybe a glue. Thank You !!

  26. Arlene Susana Rivera on March 24, 2022 at 8:37 am

New sub. Love your content. What do you think of the brand Kindfull made by target? Please let me know I have 5 puppies that I plan on feeding them this brand for the rest of their lives. They eat everything the complete line of treats.

  27. Naomie Avila on March 24, 2022 at 8:37 am

Hi I have a senior dog he is a yorkie/poodle mix, is there a food good for weight gain and joint health that anyone knows about my old man and I would appreciate it 😅

  28. Caleb Ellison on March 24, 2022 at 8:38 am

Seems like everywhere I look they say zignature is just the top of the line

  29. Ingrid Reyes on March 24, 2022 at 8:39 am

Is there a review on Natural Balance wet food?

  30. Brandon Reiber on March 24, 2022 at 8:39 am

Is t true that zignature is shown to cause congestive heart failure?

  31. Loviekinz on March 24, 2022 at 8:40 am

I’ve used First Mate both "Grain friendly" with the rice and "grain free" which uses potato over rice, and the biggest issue right now is that I can’t get the food. There’s an issue getting it from BC to Ontario and my girls are SO PICKY I am struggling to find an alternative that they will actually eat.

  32. Fia Sugimoto on March 24, 2022 at 8:40 am

Thankyou so much it’s very helpful ☺️

  33. Alison Faulkner on March 24, 2022 at 8:43 am

where is your degree from? I’ve never met a veterinary nutritionist that didn’t rank RC in the top tier of dog foods

  36. R512 on March 24, 2022 at 8:47 am

What’s your opinion on vegan dog food?

  37. Juan Yepez on March 24, 2022 at 8:48 am

Yes Canada has a little higher restrictions on food but not on pet food. The USA has a better standards in pet food then in Canada and of course in Europe it’s much better then both.

  38. Logan Kraft on March 24, 2022 at 8:53 am

Thanks for this, just got some of the canned food from Costco to add as a treat with kibble here and there.

  39. cassandra garcia on March 24, 2022 at 8:59 am

    is guar gum not bad??

  40. Katherine Hawkins on March 24, 2022 at 9:00 am

This is so frustrating:((((( i cant find a good meal for my pups ones a yorkie and the other is a yorkiepoo 7months and 4months old. I’m so lost I’ve look up the food in the top category but they’re either really a cat food, larger breeds, or plain confusing. I want to see my pups the best foods. And it’s so annoying!!! I feel like no one wants to tell us what to actually feed them on a home diet because the only thing stupid vets know is commercial fooods and idk what nutritionist to trust i feel like everyone has a different opinion…. I’m so lost….

  41. Keith H on March 24, 2022 at 9:01 am

I would like to see your opinion on the following (wet food) brands: K9 Natural, Tripette, and Evangers

  42. Andrea Hubert on March 24, 2022 at 9:01 am

    👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

  43. Michael Dillon on March 24, 2022 at 9:04 am

My SHIH tzu had a bad experience with purina pro plan. I agree with you.

  44. Blake Burke on March 24, 2022 at 9:06 am

I use Purina pro plan Sensitive skin and stomach salmon. Where do that stand?

  45. e la cross on March 24, 2022 at 9:06 am

Are the “unnamed meats” or even the named meats checked for diseases before using in dog food?
    Thanks for your hard work!

  46. Max Garcia on March 24, 2022 at 9:08 am

I’d love to hear your thoughts on Cat Person food! I recently figured out that my cat has a poultry allergy and finding something that doesn’t sneak poultry in is SO hard. The only one I found at the pet store was Applaws and I fed that for a week before reading the back more carefully and realizing its not fortified with any of the outside nutrients cats need its literally just fish, rice, and fish broth. I just ordered a starter pack of Cat Person because it’s the only limited ingredient food I’ve found that is actually balanced for a full time diet.

  47. Selina Fambro on March 24, 2022 at 9:09 am

LOL at pee pee poo poo! Thanks girl!

  48. Nyansho on March 24, 2022 at 9:10 am

I never see the brands I use in these lists :’( …. I do 75 raw and 25 kibble. I used Nutro kibble and looking to try out Whole Foods raw food called Whole Paws. Any opinions on these?

  49. Yissel Rodriguez on March 24, 2022 at 9:10 am
