What do you think about I and Love and You dehydrated raw dog food?

  2. T Cr on July 2, 2022 at 11:24 am

The word is "oxidize", not "oxidate". there is no biological difference between manufactured vitamins and extracted ones. Virtually all plants used as food today are GMO, starting with the Green Revolution in wheat which saved the world’s poorest from starvation. Need to mention, too, that large breed puppies should not eat a high protein diet as it can cause bone fractures and hip issues in adult hood. As mentioned below, too, dogs are not carnivores, but are omnivores, and eat plant/grain sources freely in the wild. Much of this video ought to be rescripted to be more factual and scientific.

My black lab prefers wild boar. I feed her pure balance wild and free . I looked and China factory. Amazon sites Call of Wild Dimond Foods etc. Recommend for the dogs. ( I have a stroke aphasia. Sorry )

Hi Rachel. This has been a question of mine for a year now of owning our puppy! After studying Rodney’s work, Dr. Becker’s work and Norah Lenz’s book, my head is spinning as to what to feed Cassie! Could you review Rawz – both canned and dried, Orijen, Vital Essentials, Stella and Chewy’s, and Honest Kitchen compared to the RMF diet.
We both will thank you for it!!!

  5. Sharon on July 2, 2022 at 11:31 am

Funny – I’ve given kibble to both my goldens, and they lived beyond 14 years. Can’t argue with that.

I do really agree with this…but there’s a catch, I’m a kid doing research for a puppy, my family isn’t rich, at all. I cannot feed my dogs food thats over 50$ in my understanding, and yes I would love to feed my puppy/dog raw food but we are really not able too, im stuck. If anyone has any ideas on what could help please say in the reply’s, thanks!

Thoughts on GI prescription kibbles such as Royal Canin Gastrointestinal or Purina Pro Gastroenteric? Asking because my dog can’t seem to stomach most foods and these are the only 2 that I have found to not give him constant and chronic diarrhea.

  12. Lori O on July 2, 2022 at 11:37 am

Thank you for all the wonderful information you shared. Our breeder started our pup on Raw Paws raw food and we have loved how fresh the meats and bones seem to be. Our vet loves how healthy our pup is and told us to continue with Raw Paws. We would be curious to receive feedback from you.

  20. Mary Wagner on July 2, 2022 at 11:45 am

I feed my cavalier King Charles: Fromm gold weight control kibble plus I boil boneless skinless chicken breasts to include in each meal. Is that okay? Just would like your opinion. Thank you

  21. Vaishnavi S on July 2, 2022 at 11:46 am

Hi, would love to hear your thoughts on Carna4, Honest Kitchen Clusters, Spot and Tango Unkibble, and other healthy dry dog foods options available, I haven’t found too many reviews on Carna4 but heard great things about it on online forums. Also, all the vets I’ve met have recommended sticking to a grain inclusive option so would be great if you would recommend accordingly.

  22. Budgeting to Freedom on July 2, 2022 at 11:47 am

I just got a toy poodle. She’s currently on royal canine. According to her vet this is the best food. After seen all the gluten it has I doubt it. I’m going crazy as to which food I should fees her. Can you help? Will you do a review on the royal canine?

  23. Jennifer Sharratt on July 2, 2022 at 11:48 am

Chicken soup for the soul dog food. I was told by a veterinarian that this was good for them. I have a 8 month old rough collie and really want him to he happy and healthy.

  24. Julina Adams on July 2, 2022 at 11:48 am

Board certified canine nutritionists (DACVNs) disagree with you. I’d be curious to see what you’d have to say in regards to the teachings of the American College of Veterinary Nutrition. Since your degree is in human nutrition and not canine.

  25. Kate W. on July 2, 2022 at 11:48 am

Would you please include Kirkland natures domain to your upcoming kibble review list? I believe they offer a chicken, fish and duck variety. (As well as age varieties) I’m interested in it bc it appears to be a medium quality dog food but at a standard kibble price. 💕 TYIA!

Hi Rachel! Thanks for posting such informational videos! I’d love to hear your thoughts on the brands Solid Gold and Yumwoof’s Perfect Kibble. Looking forward to seeing your reviews. 🙂

  32. jml1432 on July 2, 2022 at 11:54 am

Thank you for the content! Any thoughts on Nature’s logic raw? Also my shih tzu only likes to eat the freeze dried food, dry. Is that ok? I always have a bowl of water for him for easy access. Thanks!

  33. Michelle Pichardo on July 2, 2022 at 11:55 am

Hi Rachel! I feed my dog a food called the farmers dog. Sometimes I switch to the Ollie brand. Where would you categorize these foods? And what are your thoughts on them. P.S. I tried the freeze dried raw dog food for about 3 months and it did not work for my dog due to health reasons. After consulting with the vet I decided to try the farmers dog and it has been great in my opinion. Love your videos and your passion for dogs.

  34. Jessica Wyatt on July 2, 2022 at 11:57 am

What do you think about Merrick or Wellness brand? I have a 5 month old puppy ally shih poo puppy. I’ve tried several puppy kibble food and she doesn’t like any brand I select.

  35. Anais lorena Lopez on July 2, 2022 at 11:57 am

I’ve tried giving all kind of frozen food like big raw country but it seems to be too acidic for him and his poop is very dry. I started cooking his food and seems to digest better should I continue cooking his food?

  36. Bryn Buchanan on July 2, 2022 at 12:00 pm

I feed my five-month old Australian Shepard/Poodle mix Carna4 and Bones & Co. I also add berries and/or veggies, organic fish oil, Green JuJu treats, and Bones & Co Goat’s Milk. She seems to be doing good on it and she likes it. Thanks for all your help! Learned about Bones & Co and Carna4 from you, Rachel. Thank you!!!

Can you please review Diamond Natural Chicken and Rice. We picked up our puppy two weeks ago and that is what the breeder was feeding him so I bought the puppy version. It looks good but I’m no expert. Our little guy is a havanese puppy and I want to make sure I give him the best! Thank you so much! Your videos are so helpful!!!

I would be very interested in your review of Pure Balance dog food. It appears to be a brand Wal-mart makes that is trying to be on the healthier side of kibble.
    Love your videos. Thanks
