"Rigamortis BLUES" as done by Hank Williams
"Rigamortis BLUES" as done by Hank Williams
..They’ll Never Take Her Love From Me.. on Live Radio Broadcast Show…** (via from email) **, I recently learned this is off of an old Red Foley live radio broadcast show in the summer of 1950… (written by Leon Payne)..as I have many songs from Mothers Best Flour Show, My error to think that this was one of them. Sorry for any confusion. Hank had a Great Personality & this shows some of it.
Hank Sr is the Robert Johnson of country music
@ozarkkeegan more like he got caught drinking in the alley before work.
Victiamortis How funny I’m gonna use it
Not the mother’s best show but a morning show Red Foley had
j’adore HANCK WILLIAMS ce mec me donne des frissons.thancks
@madinfinger amen brother.
Know body sang a song like he And his son is very very good country music singer in the world love them both
The New Country Music is a disgrace to America. It just dosnet get and better than Hank Williams Sr. And probably never will
This is an early morning Red Foley show!
I remember this show, wonderful memories.
Thanks again Alan. I get chills everytime I hear this. People nowadays don’t understand how revolutionary such an emotional song was at the time. Leon Payne wrote this one, and he wrote "Lost Highway’ too, but Hank sings it as if it were his own.
No one else has ever put it across like Hank, and I believe this one was one of his best. He had the ability to make each song his own whether he had written it or not.
is it just me or did ol hank not sing the saddest songs ever?
Hank Jr and 3 are pretty good but no man before or after conveys the emotion in a song like HANK SR did, awsome talent.
For the short time he was actually singing and writing his music he accomplished more than most artist have before or since.
good God, this is my life. how old Hank coped with so much pain in his life is way beyond me
@Sauerkrautification and still sung the crap out of that thang
I love that song and the man sang it he is so good one of the very best singer in the world

great track
Should be Rigor Mortis
Man oh man, this sure takes me back to my childhood of the late 1940s and early 1950s. There just isn’t enough time in our lives today to relive those olden times as once we did. It’s so good to revisit them occasionally, glad I have here on this day. Many thanks to the uploader
I will never tire of hearing this song
Glenn Johnson Later this year i shall be visiting Hank`s shrine on a tour.It will be emotional as i have been singing his songs for 60 years.Hank never made a bad record and this song is one of my favourites. Thanks for posting all these wonderful performances from the master.
This is not Mother’s Best, this is an early morning Red Foley show!
Vive Hank Williams du Québec.
Hank you’re the god damn coolest SOB ever!
Say what you like about Hank, but he loved Mother’s Best Flour.
Check out The Black Keysand Lucero. They’re damned good, maybe not as good as Hank but not many are these days.
Ironic when they found him dead he was in rigermourtis state
Ole Hank should never be referred to as Sr. He IS Hank Williams the one, the only and there will never be another.
Nice one Alan 5 star
Hank singing a Leon Payne song. It doesn’t get better than that 🙂
The only song writer that you can actually feel the song. No one ,I mean no one does that today. Thank you so much Hank.
the king of country music
How great, revealing, to hear Hank speaking informally…possibly hungover…bantering with friends.
You can see the real guy, as well as the genius.
Beautiful, bittersweet.
Hank did sing some of the saddest and best songs ever. The way he sung them made them gifts to us too great for us to ever repay. He left us early in his life, but I can’t help wondering how many others like myself, made it through their own saddest times because his music was there when we needed it most.
One of the most beautiful songs ever sung, BY
THE GREATEST!
The Greatest Singer/Songwriter of True Country Music who has ever lived. This is the real McCoy.
His Death was and still is such a sad loss
He’s the best reason they call it country music.
@Sauerkrautification and still sung the crap out of that thang
aint nobody no better
It actually was a WSM radio broadcast show hosted by Red Foley. Not Mother’s Best.
Hank could be hungover or stoned out of his mind and still play and sing circles around any of these artist today. All I can say is how many artist do you know that sound exactly the same live as they do on a record? You have all these artist today that sound great on a record but sound like crap live on stage.
where’s rigamortis blues
that’s Red Foley
Actually is was a separate morning radio program hosted by Red Foley on WSM. Not Mother’s Best.
The GOAT. Cant wait to hear him, live in the next world.
