Crazy . Germany could even tripple the expenses . They have such a strong economy and tripple A ratings that they could rebuild the Wehrmacht 10x stronger as when it was at its peak. I’m happy they are with the Alliance now

Brings into reality concerns about the rise of the German military industrial complex. You instantly increase the budget by 100%, people don’t know how to spend that money so contracts end up being severely overpriced.

  38. Ember LeBlanc on March 2, 2022 at 12:51 am

As great as this is for the defense of the EU. I can’t help but be scared of all the measures being taken against Russia. Putin is in his old age, it’s clear he’s trying to rush to leave a legacy behind. His mind is clearly extremely unstable and volatile, and i’m very afraid that all the actions being taken against Russia will make Putin start a full on Nuclear war. It’s obvious after all this is said and done, the world will be a vastly different place, but the question is, will it still be a reasonable habitable place, or will a massive portion of people and important locations be decimated and unihabitable due to nuclear fallout? Very worrying all of this stuff going on
