I actually found a raw diet kibble! The brand name is nature’s variety instinct the raw brand and it’s a pure raw diet kibble with no extra ingredients! And they have it for dogs and cats!

(Beef version) The ingredients for dogs are: beef, beef liver, pumpkin seeds, beef spleen, carrots, apples, butternut squash, ground flaxseed, dried kelp, broccoli, apple cider vinegar, salmon oil, rosemary extract, blueberries, and dried chicory root. The use monomorillonite clay for shape, mixed tocopherols as a preservative, and freeze dry it.

(Rabbit version)For cats the ingredients are: rabbit (including ground rabbit bone), pork, pork liver, pumpkin seeds, carrots, apples, butternut squash, rabbit liver, rabbit kidney, rabbit lung, dried kelp, broccoli, apple cider vinegar, salmon oil, rosemary extract, blueberries, and dried chicory root. The use monomorillonite clay for shape, mixed tocopherols as a preservative, and freeze dry it.

And they have plenty of flavors too like beef, rabbit, pork, fish, etc…
The point is I think you should definitely try this new stuff because it is amazing!

The price for a small bag is about 15 dollars and the price for a large bag is about 30 dollars.

It’s like you read my mind with this topic! I need to see what’s available here in the UK.
Also an update, my cat Murphy hasn’t had a rodent ulcer flare up since starting this diet in June!! Thank you for all the content and advice – couldn’t have done it without your videos 🙂

I have the issue where my dog loves her raw meals so much, she has very little interest in freeze-dried treats. And I don’t see myself carrying raw steak or canned sardines outside when we go on walks

if you live in the PNW, Northwest Naturals is a great locally made brand for single ingredient freeze-dried treats too! They’re based right in Portland and have a ton of variety, like freeze dried mussels, shrimp, and poultry necks. they also have lines of freeze dried and frozen dog and cat food. my cats and ferrets love everything they’ve tried from them. they’re also pretty transparent about their ingredients and where they source from! not too sure about sourcing it outside of the PNW though, but if you can try them i would totally recommend!

Love PureBites! All 3 of my cats and dog love them, I just buy the larger dog size and break them down into smaller pieces for my cats.

I make my own air dried treats by cutting up lean meat in very small pieces, laying the pieces on a plate and putting them in the refrigerator to dry. They are usually dried in 36 hours. I store them in the freezer. Treats are very expensive so this can help save some money. You also know exactly what you are feeding and don’t need to worry about them going bad after opening. I am especially concerned about treats with oil of any kind that can go rancid quickly once opened. I also avoid organ meats as treats since they get plenty of organs in their diet and I do not want to overdose them. They are very small dogs so easy to overdose.

Do you have information on cleaning the dog’s mouth after they eat?

  12. Ashley Ashcraft on January 13, 2022 at 1:45 am

We use #1 and #5 in our house. Organ meat is hard for me to stomach so I try to buy a variety of freeze dried organ meats and then reconstitute them in my dogs’ and cat’s daily food bowls. But we use instinct for treats for a long time. My dogs go crazy for them. They are a high value training treats

Hi, can you please cover about RMF ?
Rotational Mono Feeding, because it’s really like helps to get out the toxic from the body and people see the result far better than the PMR or BARF diet because it helps and promote self healing from your pets own body ability.
Wild animal in the wild they travel far everyday and because they are in the wild they exercise a lot, they hunt, they chase, they don’t even eat meat everyday, sometimes they eat what they get can be fruits and grass even for carnivore and sometimes they go with fasting day when they don’t get their prey.
Dogs and cats are much different today, they live indoor and only have like 30 minutes sometimes to 2 hours play time outside each day or even not at all.
They are in the wild like us human athelets, fitness freak, or personal trainer, they need high protein and a lot nutrition because they workout.
But cats and dogs as a pets they are like you and me, just a normal human.
If we eat like personal trainer and athelets but live with our normal lifestyle, it’s going to be bad for our health when we consume high protein food and taking supplement like them.
So diet consist so much protein all meat like PMR and mostly meat like BARF can be too much if consume everyday, sometimes we also add supplements and so many other things, something good even like vitamin and protein but if consume too much can be bad, that’s why the RMF diet came to play.
That’s the idea of this diet.
Because if we really want to mimicking their life in the wild, RMF is the closest so far.
It make sense a lot as well and i find it very interesting.

I am wondering if cats can eat the freeze dried whole food treats that are labeled for dogs. If it is whole food, then why can’t cat also eat it, but like vita essentials, they have the exact same freeze dried treat for both dogs and cats (dogs may have more options though), but the dogs version seems to be cheaper than the cats’.🤔

I have a question, so horses have an extra toe which they don’t have anymore and now it doesn’t against there but in place of it is a “Chestnut” and some people feed it to their dogs, saying it’s fine for them to eat, would that possibly be fine for them to eat?

  21. wolffixx on January 13, 2022 at 2:01 am

My cat is finally eating organ meat OMG 😃

Ugh I wish my family would listen to me. My grandma’s dog gets 6+ large sized milk bones a day and is on pedigree kibble that is left out all day in a bowl that’s never cleaned. The bowl is huge and is never measured. The dog is an obese pitbull, he never gets walked, is aggressive and has health issues and they don’t take him to the vet… it’s sad.
