What a freaking much-needed video, because number one I have a ball python and I always advocate in teaching people who what side is the right size to feed, but my mom asked me how do you know the difference between a rat and a mouse, and at first I’m like that’s a dumb question (btw cement in her house she just saw one and she didn’t know what she had to get rid of) beltway she was asking was well if a rat has babies how can you tell if it’s not a baby rat vs 🐁 mouse, so this video it’s great for way more than one reason, because I’ve searched on here just the difference between rats and mouse and all people talked about was their teeth and sizes, nae nae nae like adult mouse adult rat, advanced you got people wanting to know if they shouldfeed their ball pythons when they are still more so you know babies just got on that fighted don’t know a lot if they should feed them pinkie mice, and I’m like no a ball python definitely should never saw it on a pinky anyting it can actually start on an adult mouse, like-mines did (just did a fee video last night on him his name is Jake The Snake 🐍),or you can start off with Hoppers and then work your way up but I chose to start off with a adult mice and then the second time I started off actually with rat pups, so that I can start em on rats, and end them on Rats.

This was very helpful. I just transitioned my ball python from ft mice to ft rats, and he took to it immediately. They definitely seem to fill him up much better then the mice did, he’s on rat pups now ☺

I remeber the days my baby ate these 😭. I have a female Tiger Retic. I remember my gf at the time said you should get a dwarf first but me being me. I got the tiger and now he is massive. Right now she is 17′ 10" long…. And eats fucking piglets now. But my Red tail stays on jumbo rats now so thats ok. But she can is gorgeous so im never getting rid of my retic. No matter her size. She already stays in a custom built terrarium so she has a forever home. I hate when people realize its too big and ditch the poor snakes
