Feeding fresh food to pets, at least for me, does not come from me thinking they are "little persons", comes from that processed food is not good at all and that every creature came into this world to feed and thrive on what nature provides

The pet food industry don’t give a damn…if they are losing the market segment in the USA, they will just dump their toxic pet food to other developing countries. They will repeat the strategies of brainwashing vet graduates and the power of advertising. Trust me, most vet clinics in my country are selling only 2 brands of pet food, Royal Canin and Hills. The mentality here is that if your are feeding your pet those food, you are a good pet parents and the best client because you will always make a visit to the vet for various health issues🤣.

THE CERTIFIED NUTRITIONIST IN SEGMENT 2 IS FULL OF IT! SHE IS PROBABLY BEEN PAID BY KIBBLE COMPANIES. DOGS SHOULD EAT FRESH FOOD JUST LIKE THEIR EOLVES ANCESTORS, THE WOLVES IN THE WILD NEVER GET DIABETES, CANCER, KIDNEY OR ANY ITHER DISEASES! MEANWHILE TEAR AFTER YEAR THE FOOD COMPANIES KILL PUPPIES AND KITTENS WITH KIDNEY FAILURE, DIABETES, AND CANCER WITHOUT CONSIDERING ALL THE ADULT DOGS TGAT HAVE THOSE DISEASES TOO,WHICH HAVE BEREN CREATED BY THE GARBAGE THEY
PUT IN THE DOG FOOD TGEY MAKE!

This is such crap, the commercial prescription food is toxic for our animals, so I am confused here, is this part of Dr Beckers site it says it is and AAFCO is bull pucky too, this agency has no flaming idea of what is nutrition for our beloveds. Most of the commercial pet food AAFCO deems a-o-k, Becker what’s up with this?????

I tried but my cat can’t stomach refrigerated food and she knows better than to attempt to eat it at this stage in her life. I try to keep her eating healthy but she absolutely can’t handle anything that’s too cold and if I leave it on the counter to warm up then it starts to smell bad to her.

The two women should be cut out, because they didn’t offer anything of benefit to the subject, and they were annoying 😞

We certainly agree that kibble is garbage & has no place in any animal diet.

What are your thoughts on Wild Earth dog food?

We have been feeding our dogs self-made meals based on meat for more than 50 years, my parents already did this. I even think that there were no commercial dogs foods at that time. Fortunately we have never had major health problems with our dogs. And all our dogs have reached a high age. I can only recommend everyone to feed freshly made meals , and avoid commercial food.

This was the strangest video. The 2 fresh food creators were great and I’d like to check out their products.
The middle person, the veterinary nutritionist, at first was interesting in that she spoke of teaching the importance of nutrition for our pets to vet techs and that pet parents want to feed their babies fresh, whole, nutritious foods instead of commercial foods. Then she and the vet conducting the interview go on to say that they feed prescription and Science Diet!!! 🤯🤯
While these diets may be balanced, their ingredients are poor quality, some even using by-products. Ugh. The giggle fest over the nutritionist buying the ingredients to make fresh meals, but kept eating it herself and never getting around to making the fresh pet food at all, was another head-exploding portion of their video. SMH. Apparently she’s unaware of the blatant dichotomy.
Sorry to be a jerk, but the giddiness throughout their portion was distracting for information of this importance.
Not giving a thumbs down on this video bc I liked the 1st and 3rd parts. Not giving a 👍 either.

Hello Dr. Becker, I really appreciate the informative videos you create. I’d like to start a fresh food diet for my pets. Can you tell me if green bananas and chayote (a type of squash) are good for especially dogs?

  18. Gia Marie on September 6, 2021 at 10:26 pm

I wouldn’t call myself a pet nutritionist if you feed your dog Science Diet.
Food is one of our greatest pleasures. Why would it be any different for animals?
Of course they love variety and of course real food is medicinal for them just like it is for humans.
Treat your animals like you would want them to treat you if the roles were reversed.
I was going to share this video but after that second person, the so called pet nutritionist, I can’t.
Too bad they don’t teach common sense in college.

Purina Pro Plan? are you serious??
This is the worst of the worst information that could be offered..
Where do you find "any" fresh food in a kibble filled with synthetic vitamins and minerals.

IAM NOT A MILENIAL , I REMEMBER MY DAD WOULD ALWAYS MADE OUR DOGS FOOD AND OUR DOGS WERE HEALTHY LIVED A LONG HAPPY LIFE.
THEY NEVER HAD ARTHRITIS, DIABETES, KIDNEY OR LIVER PROBLEMS NOR HEART, CANCER
    OR ANY KIND OF ALERGIES!

I make my dog’s food. She not only gets meat but lots of vegetables. And when I cook some salmon. She gets some too.

  22. desertking 4u on September 6, 2021 at 10:37 pm

I also have my doubts about the second person in this video, she doesn’t have my confidence either, unbelievably her response and recommendation. I would run away from her quickly, I can’t believe this.

Vital essential the best pure raw food

  24. Michael MJL on September 6, 2021 at 10:42 pm

I’m using Mercola Meal Mix supplement to fresh cooked meat/veggie homemade. The concept is simple because it takes the guess work about scientific nutrients to a doable level for non-nutritionists. Seems too easy but I feel a lot better getting away from even what we called "top shelf" kibble.
I also use a kibble from Stella and Chewy which is something new to supplement this. Oven baked food, coated with freeze dried raw meat. It needs to be introduced slowly as it will cause gas in my dog. Not cheap; almost $4 lb.
My home made cooked meat is organic as are the veggies… not cheap for a 70 lb dog.
As long as I can afford it it’s the moral thing to do for loved ones.
I don’t claim to be completely informed but I’m getting better.
