Zimbabwe: Dog Owners Have Been Hit Hard By The Biting Economy

Zimbabwe’s small group of dog enthusiasts is keeping an old tradition alive…the German shepherd dog society, one of the few remain dog clubs in the country, is still training dogs and their owners and holding regular dog shows. Dog owners have been hit hard by the biting economy which has increased pet food costs and significantly reduced their numbers.

It is such a shame how many people do not take dogs health and training seriously. Mahatma Gandhi Quotes
The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated. Not to be insulting or anything but where do you think Zimbabwe is? I am also embarrassed to see a comment from a grown man saying his dog is just a pet and his wife is his best friend you have obviously misunderstood the whole concept.. your dog will love you unconditionally that is why they are called Man’s best friend. We should be thankful there is still people like this who actually take their time to feed, care, train and advocate for dogs like this.

man’s best friend should be another human being. If your dog is more than a pet and actually your best friend, you need help. I have boerboel and she is my pet not my best friend. My wife is my best friend
